Paradox Video - ZA - Halazzi

Hello guys,

we want to share our tactic of how we downed Halazzi, because there has been so many questions of how we have done it, and we think watching a video is easier than getting it explained.

The boss himself isnt anything special, but as most of you guys have experienced, the "cleave lash" which used to hit around 15k is a lil bit bugged and instead of getting hit by it once, you get hit by it 2-4x at the same time, which no tank can survive without CD´s. Rather than giving up, we have spent 6 hours of wiping on him last week, deep into the night, with managing him to down with the tactic you can see in the video. This was a way smoother kill today, as we have already claimed some gear for our tanks and heals.

Our setup for it:

Tank Paladin - Till
Feral Druid Tank - Edogawa
Discipline Priest - Nathany
Resto Druid - Zpr
Holy Paladin - Loudmic
Affliction Warlock - Yez
Arcane Mage - Zen
Retribution Paladin - Noobpunisher
Enhancment Shaman - Iqpl
MM Hunter - Korvan

The things you should keep in mind:

- Paladin Tank and Hunter have to do the taunts in the transition phases
- Have soulstone on your Druid tank, in 50% of the tries he will die
- After each transition phase (kite until you get your CD´s back) the tanks have to pop CD´s (Survival/Barkskin - Raidsac/50%Bubble - Pain supp on Druid)
- Dps have to focus on doing as much damage as possible, flasks and buff food is mandatory

As i know there is gonna be someone who is gonna cause drama, i would KINDLY ask those people to refrain from doing so, as this video is just aimed to introduce you a tactic and encourage people to never stop trying, as there is ALWAYS a way to reach your goals, only if you try hard enough.

Not a Paradox fan, but i didnt hear that anybody else downed this boss, so why complain about "bad tactic" if you couldnt figure out one yourself and down it?

whats the point of this video?

why do people enjoy standing in one place for 10 minutes and spam 3 keybinds?

and more importantly, why would people watch somebody stand in one place and spam 3 keybinds?

Pretty sure taunt has no DR... Never heard Taunt ever having a diminishing returns but you can prob prove me wrong :) Grats on the kill!

I believe its not their fault that the boss doesnt work properly, but they creativly improvised and were the only ones who actually downed that boss, so i really dont see the point hating, also that *No DR* thing is nonsense, i guess you should inform yourself properly before posting such statements

Mere learn less talk, yes taunt have DR. Its take me like 5sec to find this.

If someone look at spell what this boss use that he know that bosse suing saber slash thatss cleave for 16k to two targgets, but i dont know how but developers on warmane think its must do 16k to each tank. So basicly you just need use 3 tanks stack on group and hope you dont get double saber slash what we always get in change phase

Diminishing returns, abbreviated DR,[1] means that certain spells and abilities are less effective against player characters if they are used frequently within a short period of time. - From your link. There is no DR on bosses, because you cant cc or interupt them usually. And taunt is usable always on bosses, with no DR.

Just a question: Did you kill Halazzi?

''Mere learn less talk'' No idea what you ment but i guess after one taunt is done it takes 5 sec to retaunt? If so than why don't you report it then? I remember on LK you could ping pong taunt LK and other bosses... That was a strategi that you used for several bosses in fact but as i said the DR for taunts i didn't think much of it as you could always retaunt if someone taunted by mistake :) Still they killed the boss :)

I can confirm that some wow raid boss encounters have taunt DR in retail, i dont know about private servers.
This means that the 4th taunt you use is ignored by the boss. I don't know if this boss was scripted this way by blizzard, as a general rule a boss that requieres tank swaps (debuff switches etc) doesn't have taunt DR

We see a few people started clearing ZA, good that we could help a few other players to teach them how to workaround this Boss till its fixed :)
