try reading the forums a bit next time. there's a nice big thread called lordaron realm info that clearly says
Limited coin store:
- No character level boosts
- No profession boosts
- No realm transfer
- No character rename
- No heirlooms
- No legendary items

I think it's likely that they may reconsider their stance on name change or faction change at some point. The only reason I'm saying that is because it would generate some extra donations and both features were available on retail.
I am having my doubts that it never will come due to past experiences i had during the last 5 years here.
I can understand the rename feature, but level ups for coins completly destroys the point of a x1 realm.
