Still unable to connect to the server.

Hey, it seems like I'm still unable to connect to the server (getting the same message as everyone else including me, received this morning), but the server population is up on 5k+ players at the moment. Just want to check if someone else has this problem and if I should just wait and it'll work eventually (aka. the issue is not completely resolved), or if it's something wrong on my part? I haven't changed any of my settings etc. and was able to log in perfectly fine yesterday. Sorry if posts like this one feel redundant by now, I just want to know so I can get back in to the game.

Yeh same here, i instantly get unable to connect no matter what, doesn't even try to connect at all...

I know they had a ddos attack yesterday on the logon server, but people are playing atm, so what changed? Or did you guys blocked IP's or something? Doubt it but considering I get instant unable to connect as if I don't have internet access makes me wonder.

change realm list from logon.warmane.ru to logon.warmane.com

No idea what happened, but it works now.

It's saying Login Server Down on my end. Asian region.

Edit: Now it says unable to connect.

Realmlist is encrypted, i cant save it when i want to....

Solution:
1. Delete the whole realmlist
2. Create new realmlist.wtf data with the adress above
3. have fun :)

Just transfer the realmlist file to your desktop (yes, you are taking it out of the Warcraft folder) and edit and save there. After that, transfer it back to the Warcraft folder.

I've been switching between logon.warmane.eu and logon.warmane.com and still cannot connect. What the **** is this?!

make sure you only have one realmlist.wtf in the data/enUS(GB) folder and that you're editing the correct one. logon.warmane.com works for sure, as I've tried it 5min ago.

Just tried it and it worked like a charm, thank you very much for the input! I'm pretty sure I did have my realmlist WTF file saved as ".com" instead of ".ru" earlier but perhaps it reset somewhere along the way of the trouble starting. Anyways, thanks again everyone.
