It's weird that there are 10.000 ppl online playing on this server all the time, isn't it?
It's not.
I am afk ingame for over 2 hours already and the game didn't even send me to character-screen yet.
If warmane would kick afks after 1 hour of not moving, we wouldn't have a queue.
But they refuse to, because they would never have 10.000 people online at the same time.
Let's see if they remove my post :)
Sounds like they are aware of the problem. Additionally they said multiple times that there were only a few hundred players who are afk for more than 30 minutes.Quote:

There isn't 10,000 people playing all of the time. At night on the GMT timezone there's usually around 8,000 or less online.
I sometimes played till 2 am or so GMT, and it had around 6-8k, so there are "downtimes", but during the day its almost always full. Especially after 6pm.
They already said the server online # isn't in real time meaning who really knows how many players are really online at a time. For there being so many people online the zones seem rather low like in the 70+ zones i usually only see about 5 people most of the day and the AH is really dead i find it difficult to believe theres that many people that require this que all the time but who knows. we got no armory or anything to even really get an idea of the population.
Only 5? i dont know at what time you play then... Im leveling an alt char atm is at 70, and since level 1 i saw more then 10 people per area easly. I had to wait for all my escort quests (because someone was doing it) even all "boss" quests i had to wait for him to spawn. Outland have alot of people there and starting areas tooQuote:

im sure i have 10x the play time in zones than you. Im multiboxing 6 at a time im 78 atm. the pop is not big i hardly see anyone unless i go to dalaran and im doing all the quests since ae grinding is slow as hell with no looms. Look at the aH hardly anything is on it. think i only seen 3 savage pvp set cloth pieces on AH for sale...If the server was that popping I think there would possibly be more for sale. the aH is pretty dead.
In my mornings there are usually less than 5k players online on lordaeron ;)
weird though, that you did not get kicked.
I have a theory that it only kicks people if someone with queue skips tries to log on. You may just be lucky.
I usually play during the low population times and I can tell you it is definitely reaches 3-4k or even lower daily. This is also a great time to farm mobs.
As for the kick timers, it would be useful to know WHEN it kicks people off.
In my case, the server kicks me off even if I'm not afk, and when I try to log back in, I'm forced to wait in queue w/ is really annoying
If you want log out for enter in other char, you go for the queue list! wtf is this or stay telling connect for long time. You cant go for char list for log other char or can't have profissiones in the alts you go for the queue list....
Dcing every 2 minutes or so Zzzz. If i was raiding this would be pointless. Is that true non donaters get kicked offline soon as someone who donated tries to log in?.
dont donate and face 2k queues
do donate and get kicked every 5 mins anyway

so much hate. server is getting DDoSed ... stop being whiny little bit***s.... also it's impossible for you to log out of your character and be logged out of the account if you want to go to character screen. unless you press escape , they you will be logged out OR if you get disconnected... no other option exists.
I got kicked for afk ( directly to account log in ) after 15 min not moving.
