Players should be able to veto AFK players out of a BG

Not everyone has time to report AFKers. Just like in RDF when you have the option to veto/kick someone from group, this should be the same in a BG.

If instance lead kicks said player, the option would pop up during a BG for others to veto the player out by selecting Yes or No, if the player isn't really AFK.
I think personally this would be good, but some may take advantage and kick low gears out, so this idea is a hit or miss.
90 BGs is annoying compared to 70s and 80s BGs, we don't deal with AFKers that much unlike 90 :S


Anyways, what do you guys think? Should we have an instant option to kick instead of taking 4-5 mins to bring information to GMs? Not saying it is a bad thing to report to GMs, but it is good to have a secondary option if the case calls for it.

With enough vetos, the player is booted from the BG instantly.

Like whats used in raid finder? say 2-3 report them as AFK and then a popup appears to the other players within the BG to simply hit yes or no?

I guess you are right, it's one thing having to deal with this daily now, I am not use to this for few weeks of 90 BG :S.

Did you even read what I wrote?

The Blizzard system is 1 minute.

This guy's suggestion is IMMEDIATE.

The proper system isnt abusable.

Can't there be something put in place so as soon as the player hit AFK, they will be kicked like right away?
Then again some people bot, jumping in place for an X amount of seconds.

I think auto kicks should happen once the [player is marked as AFK, and the option to veto someone as well should play a part against AFK botters.

too much afk in bg's they just waiting from start to end. is "report player away" working ?
especially in hordes

You cannot implement this system without being abusable. And abuse is not what Warmane staff wants..

This should solve all your problems. If more people were to use this it will fix the issue entirely.

Also, from my understanding the report player afk was fixed ages ago. Just takes a certain amount to report them before anything activates for them to be kicked.

What of botters? they run/jump in place and are a problem.

Only so much that can be done with botters. A fair amount of them gets banned daily.

O ok, I'll keep a look out more, some players use various methods of evading a report and or marked as AFK.

To be honest half of you are bad,the other half intolerable loudmouths.
I'd say insta kick the moment someone reports you for being afk would be a blessing as long as the 15min penalty is removed.
For few weeks there would be chaos.
After a while everyone would learn to behave,you wouldn't have randoms joining with green gear,baddies would get scoped out quite quickly and wouldn't be able to do a single BG,the groups of morons who choose to chase a single hunter down while EFC solo-runs past them without a care in the world would also go away.
Basically it would assure than slacking,sucking and generally failing would be near annihilated.

Oh and yes,bots and AFKers would become nonexistent.

Now granted this will never happen,but a man has the right to dream!
