What's wrong with the raids ?

Hello, I am one of the old Path of Wreckage Al'Akir EU officers, a guild who cleared all Tier 7 content in 2008 as the 118th guild worldwide (my point is our guild wasnt among the top 10, but wasnt mediocre either.) I started to play here with some of my ex-guild, built a guild, farmed the heroics, went to Naxxramas 10.

Surprise, on this server all bosses are buffed into some heroic version that never existed on live. Anub has almost 8 million HP compared to 2 million, basically asking for dps and healing that are not achivable by heroic farming, and force people to actually go 25 men Naxx to get 213 ilvl gear in order to be able to kill things in Naxx 10, which is stupid.

More so, the dps and healing required in 25 men are lower than in 10 men, for Patchwerk you are required around 5k dps sustained for 10 men, and only around 2.5k dps in 25 men, which is again, stupid.

TLDR: It seems that the admins buffed the T7 bosses to a level that makes it inaccessible to the new guys, who can only bring items from heroic 5 men. More so, if I need 213 gear to be able to complete a raid that gives only 200 ilvl gear, why I would go to that raid ?!! Again, stupid.

I spent months leveling and farming gear/gold/reputations, tens of hours to recruit players for my guild. And all of this for nothing, to find 10 men raids buffed in some stupid hardmode that makes impossible gear farming in order to progress to 25 men. You can ban me if you dont like my point of view (I hoped for a Blizzlike WOtlk server and was served a completely different thing), but the fact remains: I am upset I lost a tremendous amount of time for nothing. And with me, there are probably thousands of players who have same issues, who cant kill things in 10 men raids with their farmed heroic gear. In Wotlk expansion Blizzard made Naxxramas accesible, in order for people to get some gear before Ulduar. It was tunned specifically to be attendable by people with 5 men gear that drops in 5 men heroics. What's happening here it's not acceptable and I honestly don't care about some "elitists" who farmed big time 25 men and now are sitting at 4k+ and are telling me "it's doable". No dear, it's not doable with heroic gear. We had insane long fights with Anub yesterday, raid full flasked, only to bring him to 60%. What's happening here its a complete joke.

Ban me, I don't care, one more reason to stop playing here.

The thing is, this servers endgame is not blizzlike, even though they told us it would be blizzlike. They changed the hp and dmg on bosses than it originaly was on retail, they script the raids their own way. Thats why this server is not a blizzlike server. Once warmane know that there is 10m and 25m instead of buffing 10m to 25m is a day we might never see.

So.. they're buffed beyond reason. I just started playing here, how am I suppose to get to end game? But then again.. other people are there, so it must be possible. Is there no sorta 'normal/blizzlike' in-between?

Naxx 10 is absolutly doable with pre-raid gear, you just have to be organized and to plan how you'll kill the boss (defensive & offensive cooldowns).

U can´t expect this server to be a walk in a park. We all had to get full hc gear and crafted epics when we started clearing naxx last year, people just got too lazy and expect some1 else to carry them now.

Even without raid gear, being in full heroics close to pre-raid BiS this raid is still a walk in the park up untill sapphiron, not as much as retail naxx but compared to other raid tiers it really isn't any harder.

If you are having trouble on Anub which is one of the easier bosses in there you guys simply have l2p issues, the damage on that fight and the overall raid mechanics needed for naxx is a complete joke even with everything buffed

The point is: Naxx 25 shouldnt be easier than Naxx10. Either nerf Naxx10 or buff Naxx25 (id prefer the second option).
Greater challenge -> better rewards.

I'm not expecting it to be "a walk in the park". That's why I don't play retail anymore. I like a good challenge (and the weeding out of .. incompetent or impatient players), I just hear people talk about it a lot and was wondering if it really is too unbalanced or if it's a player issue.

I remember there being a poll to increase Naxxramas difficulty, which was done. Some people consider it too much, some people don't. Personally I think it's too much for the time I personally put into this game to bother grinding enough gear and playing with proper people that I won't do it. I have always preferred doing 10 mans over 25 mans, so it kind of kills the game for me that 10 man is way harder than 25 man.

I do think that it wasn't made clear enough for people that all the content will be buffed, I am okay with the Naxx buffs, but apparently Ulduar will be toned up again, which wasn't mentioned anywhere before the server was launched with only Naxx buffs being discussed. Heck, I'm not even a 100% on that, since I can't read up on it anywhere.

Silly way of dismissing what's an extremely valid issue.

The reduced difficulty of 10-man raids was an inherent element of WotLK raiding that not only provided players new to the content with a suitably-tuned platform that served as an entry-level glimpse of the encounters, but which also paved the way for more serious 25-man raiding (BOTH for guilds and pugs) by equipping raiders with the gear they needed.

10-man raiding on Lordaeron in its current state flips that paradigm around on its face, making 10-mans all but redundant from the get-go.

It was stated long ago there were be buffs to compensate the patch 335 buffs. 10man versions naxx, eoe, os are not fine tuned imo. Altho 25man versions are just FINE. It was challenge doing 25 while trying to get some gear. Changes were been made during this naxx content period. Examples: On release the speed of the 'fire walls' @ heigan were much much quicker, the fire wall gap on sarth were much tighter, Patchwerk or Maexxna damage were higher. I think in beginning there were an extra challenge to difficult realm firsts in the 1st/2nd week but 10man were never tuned correctly. Basically it was not worth of the time doing 10mans if you could gather 25man and get better gear and raid wise would be a less painful.

10 man is tuned too high for the rewards it gives I agree with that, it's not ''un-doable'' with heroic gear as the OP describes though, it's just not completely 100% free

hardcore is one, and modifying a raid in a way that wasnt designed, that's another thing. forcing guilds to go 25 men raiding if they want some gear, that's a bad ideea. Anyway, the direction this server goes is completely incompatible with "blizzlike", therefore we will stop playing here for a period, at least till something is done and the raids will feel more... "blizzlike".
