What is up boxers, how you doing?

Hi! How's it going? There seems to be a lot of negativity against boxers, so I figured I'd make a positive post for a change.

What you been up to? What projects are you working on right now? What kind of multi-boxing have you been doing lately? Oh, and what server are you playing at?

I'll start! ^^ I've been leveling up my 3 shamans + 1 druid, currently at level 65. Got bored with leveling so I took one month break from warmane, but now I'm back and trying to force these alts to 80. After I get those to 80 I'm going to try to do some heroics with druidtank, priesthealer and 3x shamandps and try to gear all for pvp. I'm playing on Lordaeron. :)

That's me, how about you?

Been playing a different server for several months.

May come back briefly after the merger on my PvE team to teach the newbies how to handle multiclass raiding. ^_^

Since the instant 85 realm here has been slightly dead population wise, I've moved on to multiboxing instant 90 MoP PvP instead of cataclysm.

You don't know intense until you're holding all 4 Temple of Kotmogu orbs at the same time all with 300-600% increased damage taken, and see a warrior in the distance popping avatar/skull banner/recklessness while targeting you.

Returning multiboxer here. I'm currently on Lordaeron. I have a fresh warrior/priest/2x warlock team created 2 days ago and have been reported for "hacking" a few times already!

Better get used to that part. The instant 90 PvP server I've played on has cross-faction chat (only /say and /yell channels, but yeah) and a public 'report players' forum section. I've already had hundreds upon hundreds of "hacker", "reported", "noob hack" and whatnot, and something along the lines of 16 different reports on said forums. Also seen at least 5 or so reports about other multiboxers.

And then sometimes there's the one guy on the alliance team in a BG that goes "HEY SOULBOTZ WASSUP MAN IT'S ME [Insert name of horde guy I played with the day before]" and then I'm like "(ಠ_ಠ) dude, I'm kinda fighting your entire team right now".


But that's the PvP side. Always alot more hate there. I've found that in PvE, most people that know their class enough to be worth grouping with are open-minded enough to play alongside multiboxers, as long as you prove yourself able to maintain a pace similar to (or better than) a normal group. Saying that from experience of using RDF to complete my 4 man shaman or DK group with a random tank/healer. Most people end up completely willing to run even more dungeons.

And the people that want to call you hacker while you're standing in Org/Dalaran? They have no power here :D

Hey!

I've been on a break recently, but I'm edging towards a return with a few plans in mind.


#1 - Website
I'm toying with the idea of creating my own website to track my progress in detail. Pictures, recordings, guides and such. The domain is ready, the rest is not.
I know a couple of multiboxers in the private server-scene that does the same. One of these is Ed (forum-profile, website). I learned quite a bit from him, and I hope to contribute with something like that.

#2 - QoL-features
I'm a sucker for Quality of Life-features, such as ingame menus to manage (stuff like) mounting, drinking/eating, buffs, ATG-swap, etc - all made within ISBoxer. I had something in the works before my break, so I might continue that project.

#3 - Include more melee
Most of my previous compositions have been caster-heavy, which tends to get a bit repetitive after a while. I want to manage melee better, so that will be close to main focus. Ret Paladins and Warriors will be main-focus. I don't enjoy DK that much. :P

#4 - ISBoxer Macros
Like the QoL-features, I really like ISBoxer macros. My goal is to minimize the amount of setup needed for a new team, which is where ISBoxer-macros come in. Really cool feature.


I used to play on Warmane-servers, but haven't been active here in a while. That will change now, tho.

I am a multiboxer on Raganros, currently doing 5 DKs running around makng gold but plan on moving onto a full dedicated team to ICC.

Moonation is my main!

Has anybody beaten Gunship solo yet?

Last time I tried was ages ago and it didn't work properly back then.

I think you're the only one here who's soloing ICC. :)
I just farm ICC25 trash for the epics and that's it.

Then we must remedy this at some point.

I think that Jakkre is the person you are talking about.

Make an Ally team then :P Or copy my class setup and try it. He's easy with Shadow Priests. ^_^
