IL req to get in your first BG

Hello there, i know that this been posted many many times and i am aware of it.
I offer a fair solution for the future newcomers or fresh toons as for our geared players to have some kind of balance in our PvP battle-grounds.
Why did i post this?
- I recently saw a toon in BG with 9 items from level 60 like: weapons, off-set etc etc.
- Its unfair for us as players to even cooperate with those players and help them out
The solution:
- There should be req not such as gearscore, but IL read down bellow!
How it can be done:
- For players who que for their first time they must have lvl 80 gear equiped (full slots)
it doesn't matter if its uncommon,common or rare, it just needs to be from level 74 as min-80 and nothing UNDER that level.
When they finish with their leveling at 80 they mostly have all of the gear req.
Usually the gearscore calculated with all these items on fresh toon is 1500-1600-1700. This is slighty better than ungeared 1200 gs or under that.

why not something a little simpler to implement... 'must have at least 10 resilience to join bg at level 80'... would kind of be a good idea... since craft items aren't that horrible and pvp trink is almost a must?

Well that's not the case, even if they equip one part of the Savage set they will get 10 resilience and the other parts might be still lvl 60...

now this is just proto code anyone with minimal understanding of code should be able to read and get my point... it's kind of redundant to have to check against a boolean every time you queue for bg when you'll only really need it once and never again at all

this on the other hand... is much cleaner and simpler, but does query the server for player resilience which could mean more server load

I think an IQ requirement would be more appropriate.

yea, hard to quantify tho...

you *can* have a greenie sit at base and yell when "enemies incoming at _____" so the geared people can run in before the base is taken and I have personally done this on a disco priest or blood dk in cata(wearing at least vicious gear), pick a base and sit in it, survive until backup gets there, basically having a main group that can float around to combat any situation that arises... usually lead to a win as long as we had at least someone per base

Yeap Islignr that was exacly i was looking for. It a fair solution after all, anyways greenies doesnt know their job here they usually just sit afk or wait for you to carry them, so like this at least they will learn to grind the proper gear before they join.

Warmane, Please let's create a better place. I enjoy my time every day but it needs just some small cruical moves from you to make it better!

Oh, really ? But what if 90% of your team is made out of greenies ? Remember, there is a HUGE chance that you won't find just one greenie in your team.

Look at the photo above ... do you really think that rogue can defend or cap anything ? One hit and he is gone. A warlock's imp can kill him.

Not too long ago i did 16 bgs and won only 2 because my teams were made out of gearless people. The excuse they gave ? We want to gear and do our daily bg. WTF ? 2 days in fos - pos - toc 5 and you reach 5k gs.

They waste their time and our time by ruining 99% of our bgs for an entire week just to reach 5k gs when they can just make their own groups and farm some dungeons for 2 days. Brainless and gearless people. Great.

And lets say after one week they reach 5k gs. Now what ? They have no idea how to play their spec. Why ? Because so far even if they tried to hit one button, they were dead before they could even take some hp from the target (not to mention ******ins that don't know what hop is, spriests, ele shamans and boomkins that say "me damage, me no heal" and instead of shielding or using at least a hot on you, they ignore and let you die while they dps like brainless monkeys and end up being killed).

Warmane knows this is a problem but they don't care about what we say. A lot of posts have been made regarding this bg situation.

but who will i get to pop off 10-11k death coils on if the greenies disappear? guess I'll have to settle for the countless full pve bis retridins instead for my fix of 5 digit skill coils..

what I said only really works with 1-3 greenies per group... if way too many greenies, I'd rather soak up a Deserter and get a snack than spend 10 mins getting raped and ultimately lose anyway

yes but he can still hide in the shadows and sap someone that's trying to say, capture a base and delay them at least somewhat to allow his teammates to pop up
so even being completely naked... well it's not smart... but you can do *something* if you know how to play even if it ultimately means your death

Horde bg tactics = Pile up our corpses Hopefully they trip and fall over

Vs a lot of classes he can't do anything, not even sap. Dk ? LOL, i have an aoe that keeps me somewhat safe. Warr ? Nice joke, i'll go rambo mode. Hunter ? You do realise both me and my pet can see you while you are in stealth and on top of that, i have a lantern that blows your "shadow" away. Warlock ? Like the hunter part, i can see you in stealth. Paladins ? Nice one. You got the idea right ?

Also, don't just think he will defend (nice joke). What he needs to cap back and someone is guarding ?

And lets say he will get a sap. Now what ? His team is on the other side of the map, at farm. Sap again right ? Ok. Now what ? they are still far. Sap again ? Ok, maybe now they are closer but guess what, the horde guy now has some friends and is starting to take the flag. Will your rogue die just to delay them ? Maybe. But what if the rogue friends get owned. Now what ? Plus, this scenario is so rare gordon ramsay will have a heart attack just by thinking of it.

We can all think of scenarios but lets be honest, 99% of the time, gearless people are useless.

Lets go back to the lowbie rogue. I play a bm hunter as my main. What exactly can he do to me ? I have few hunters, lets say i am at stables with my low hunter, 5.4 gs. Do you really think he can sap me before me or my pet will see him in stealth ? Don't forget i also have flare. They aren't even worth bestial wrath, my pet can solo them without going rambo mode. Now lets say i defend. What can he do to take the base back from me ? Ask for help ? Ok, lets say one person comes. I can tell you i know how to play my spec so unless that person is way more geared than me, he won't beat me. I won't even bother taking the rogue into consideration giving that he will die if the wind blows a little harder in his direction. He takes nature damage and dies.

When i see lowbies i pretty much melee them. BTW, for all the lowbies reading this ... if you get killed by a hunter in melee you should delete wow.
