Vanilla Server

I think everyone will agree with me to give Warmane one more job - make two VANILLA servers, one with 1xp, and one with 5-7xp :D

We are not considering opening any other realms. There is a lot of work left to do on already existing expansions.

Last time I read that sort of thing in forums, ended up with 2 TBC realms... i hope warmane staffs won't post "we were working on vanilla since 1 year ago and now we release it..." in future.

In defense of The Burning Crusade, there was a resurgence of interest in the private server scene.

There are currently too many Vanilla servers right now, with at least 2 of them being fairly large, so Warmane could not expect to see much desire here for it, at this time.

Well yes, but some people don't want to bother leveling up with Blizzlike Rate and prefer High-Rate servers, which Warmane can do that.

Well I think we shouldnt beleive you too much :P You said the same for the TBC. So why not ? There will be at least 8k people or even more during hype period

Understandable. Still, moving your character from a vanilla realm all the way up to MoP sounds tempting...

Does that include Cataclysm? That one seems to have been discarded for ****ty xpacks like TBC.

When they said that they really meant it. The thing is, several vanilla and TBC pservers gathered significant amount of players only to get shut down shortly after. This opened a huge niché for TBC and vanilla. Vanilla is just bad as a game, no matter how you look at it. The only reason people play vanilla is nostalgia for the times of pioneering. Literally nothing is better on vanilla than on other expansions. And so when this niché opened up, just several weeks after a particular TBC pserver got shut down, Warmane took the opportunity with TBC.

Man you're making the exact same argument that retail players make when talking about going back to TBC or WOTLK, the irony here is quite special.

It makes sense that a vanilla realm would be next, they have a server for every single expansion outside of vanilla. Vanilla wow is also the most sought after experience and people are getting tired of elysium asking for donations every month and let's not even mention the massive amount of money this could open up for the warmane staff. I'm not talking about a cash shop, im talking about the ability to transfer toons between realms. Imagine that you could play your character all the way from vanilla start to the end of nax and then have the OPTION to transfer your character over to TBC and so forth all the way to MOP. Warmane could put a paywall behind this feature and people would pay for it, i know i would and its a good deal for both the warmane devs and us as players, it keeps us progressing our toons and warmane can pay the bills.

Well , one of the reasons I left Elysium , was no the " shop option"... cause i dont like grinding

Vanilla got SO MUCH Legendary items , mmm Staff of Medivh/guardian mmm)
