Mercenary Mode.

Thanks for Mercenary Mode now the Horde on Icecrown literally can't win a single BG. Before Mercenary Mode you could win MAYBE 1/10 BG's with solo queue. There are no serious Horde PvP guilds left, most of the players went alliance(including full PvP guilds) and it's understandable when you can farm Blackrock first comers with 5.5 relentless gear 24/7. I wonder why would anyone want to be horde now when we can just all go alliance for human racial and farm Blackrock/Lordaeron and live happily ever after. I wonder have the admins/owners of Warmane tried to PvP as Horde recently, it's near impossible to win a BG. We had enough problems with the huge gear gap between Horde and Alliance and now it's even worse and almost forgot to mention that there are afkers in absolutely every BG. Thank you. I lost like 7 in a row yesterday as ally, so your statement is factually inaccurate.

As far as "there are no serious horde pvp guilds left" I saw both Old Division and Aftermath running large (and winning) premades yesterday.

So yeah, your post is basically just total nonsense.

And i lost 20 in a row, some day i can't even get my daily 25 arena points. It's a know fact that horde losses 95 % of every BG and i mean solo queue, Aftermath is a joke , Old Division is the only PvP horde guild left. And while posting here i am on my 6th BG loss in a row atm and by loss i don't mean a battle but graveyard farming. For bgs, which is what we are talking about here, they certainly are. Old Division in particular has the best premade vs. premade record of any guild on the server. Exactly what guild are you saying is a better guild at battlegrounds than OD? Got any proof to back it up?

I spent 30vp to change my gearless 16k hp rogue to Alliance to check how are the BG's there. Here are some screen shots from the first ever BG's with this character, even when it was basically 14vs15 or 9vs10 because my character is useless.

One thing that jumps out at me from the 3 screenshots I made since reading your crying post and deciding to document my experiences, is that it's always the horde/mercenary guys from BLACKROCK who seem to be winning the bgs for you guys. I thought the Blackrock guys were all noobs and were dragging you Icecrown horde down?

How am i picking scrn shots when it's literally first ever BG's i tried on alliance there are freaking achievements for winning 5 bg's 5 wins. We can ask the players that were in these bg's if it's old screenshot, the screen shots are from this thursday. Everyone in this server knows for a FACT that the win rate on alliance is a lot better than horde, so is the gear... Warmane can make a poll on it, but i doubt they will.

Well mine were literally the first three bgs I played after I read your post. Check the timestamps if you like. Going to eat and do some stuff so that will have to be my proof.

No one is saying that alliance can't lose, i am saying that the win ratio for horde is like 1/10 and for alliance is more like 7/10. And now when the horde gets even more under geared players from Blackrock(and yes for this server's standarts when every second plate on alliance has shadowmourne, relentless gear is under gear) it's even worse than before AND this made even more horde players that are actually geared to switch to Alliance furthering even more the gap between populations, because now the Alliance gets almost instant queues. Not to mention Wintergrasp where as Horde you can do your quests maybe only between 00 and 6 am, because its full of Alliance.

Sure, my proofs:

1) They don't play for objectives in bgs, probably don't even know what a bg is beside sitting in a gy farming greenies.
2) 90% of their members don't reach 1800 rating in arena, giving hard time for someone considering them "serious" in pvp.
3) They go in bgs with double pve trinket as horde, thus they get rekted in an embarrassing way everytime they are outside of the large group and find themselves in small fights or 1v1.

Unfortunately for the horde this apply for all of their "pvp guilds" which are nothing more than a bunch of pve heroes. They perform good against greenies pugs tho. Not that ally ones are far better, but the quality is certainly higher.

yep, after changes we are losing more often, done some statistics,
before 41±3 wins for 100 bgs
now 26±3 wins for 100 bgs
so difference is huge. Mostly blackrock drag down horde, cause there plenty of guys who just enter to test new builds or completely new to their characters, sometimes they enter with half gear or just afk.

Voted yes for mercenery mode, now I see this was biggest mistake of all xD

No one could knew, The poll was changed AFTER they closed it.
Due to Icecrown Alliance whiners flocking to the forums complaining they would "NEVER" play the game again.
So basicly everyone are punching bags for Icecrown Alliance right now, Even blackrock Alliance gets to be Horde and stomed by Icecrown Alliance.

Unacceptable.
We voted for Mercenary mode for everyone, Not everyone who already was already at disadvantage.
The huge imbalance in the first place is because of Icecrown Alliance, Excluding them from this is absurd.

Warmane do what you know best and don't listen to forum whiners! "The diehard pvpers" of alliance is not the majority of players who you screw over because of this.

As I posted on the Mercenary poll before.

I start questioning my statement now...

The original idea would likely have similar effect since the idea was that a group of alliance players would be fighting another group of alliance players, not mixed group of horde and alliance. On Icecrown alliance has most of the serious PvP players because of human racial (how much it actually helps doesn't matter since people choose alliance because of it anyway). The ones on horde were there mostly because of shorter BG queues. Mercenary mode eliminates queues so they have no reason to be on horde anymore. When they transfer to alliance, horde would become weaker, making even more horde players transfer to alliance. Right now horde seems to be losing mainly because horde side is filled with Blackrock players, most of which are there to get gear and are in Relentless gear. But PvP players on Icecrown have moved to alliance too, which would have happened if mercenary mode was implemented as initially planned too.

The only real way of balancing battlegrounds with mercenary mode would be mixing alliance and horde from all realms into horde teams. Horde PvP players would still move to alliance if they wanted to do arenas but in battlegrounds they would often be in horde team so teams should be more balanced. But apparently that can't be done because of WoW lore.
