Warmane is the most toxic community Ive been a part of in a long time.

I have never been in a more toxic community than Warmane. Ive been playing mostly solo, so I dont have any friends or premade groups, and when you do that, you will always get singled out, always get called out, always get kicked. And you cant do anything about it, there is no reporting premades that are kicking you because you won a roll, there are no reports for harassment from a full group of premades because you died to aggro because the tank didnt do his job, but its now my problem because Im the only random in the group etc.

Just to give a few examples from today and my RDF HC groups:

I come in to Utgarde Pinnacle with me and another paladin:
I give myself and the ones that need a Blessing of Might, and the other Paladin tells me to give Kings instead, and I say that I have improved one, you dont, and then he proceeds to call me an *****, a ****** and a noob "just give us the ****ing kings you ****ing ******" and then he gets his premade friends in on it, and they kick me from the group.

I can finally get another group after getting kicked and get in to Azjol where I get in to a group where we do fine on first boss but then comes second spider boss where he heals like hell, everyone is standing in everything and dying because the spider is healing, I told him Im sorry I didnt see the green on my screen, I was the only one that got **** on by the healer and the other dudes, even if they did the same thing as well, but they are premade, so Im singled out. Anyway, the most ****ty thing was, the tank trinket dropped and everyone greeded on it, and I said I need for OS and needed, and then they started to say that one of the other DPS wants it too, so lets roll about it or we report you for ninja and get you banned, so I did, and I was laying dead on the ground and the healer ressed everyone but me and I walked all the way back in, and gave the trinket to the dude that didnt even need it, so I wouldnt get reported for ninjaing and banned because they are premade and more than me so they will probably get me banned, after I gave the trinket they kicked me out of the group, after harassing me for 5 minutes and calling me stuff.

So I just wanted to share this, because there should be a way to report premade groups that are harassing people outside of their groups. I want to relax and have fun when I play games, I dont want to be punished for playing solo.

Why would you assume everyone should behave like you want them to?

Whole point is to find people you enjoy playing with. But you choose to "solo it", so what's with being surprised? Standing in stuff, needing on stuff while others have the same claim on item, somehow you are the gift to community? In general "PUGs" are players that can't work as a team(solo players like you), whcih any decent player wouldn't touch with a 10feet pole.

What I can suggest - become someone with whom people want to play. Learn your spec, learn bosses, let others save face, be decent and don't let anyone walk over you. You build the environment you play in, stop thinking that somehow everyone owes you something and should be nice to you. I thought that's general knowledge, but I guess not.

He must be new to online gaming, every online game is toxic, Have you ever played xbox live? If you want to relax, chill and not get messed with, you're better off playing games that aren't online, people are fearless behind a screen.

Yep, a lot of toxic slime around, you need to learn to ignore them ;D
Anyway there 90% chance that these toxic guys are living with parents on their grace, which make them disappointed with life and this makes them unhappy and toxic, so don't hate, you need to feel sorry for them.

ye, warmane comm is very toxic, especially some *br* guild (no clue wut det mean) and mb spanish, they act like turkish in csgo xD

I think the problem is that WoW allows this and it was/is a problem on retail too, Blizzard have done a lot of changes over the years to combat this issue, one of the big ones being personal loot. But you're playing WOTLK and you have to accept it, some players will be selfish and mean spirited *******s, a lot of them are kids who have no respect for anyone..

But what can you do? Being intimidated about them threatening to get you banned is a bit silly, it's not going to happen and you got played. WoW is a social game at the end of the day, your experience will be better if you join a guild. During WOTLK in 2008-2010 I wouldn't play with any pugs as a rule, everyone knows what a ****show it can be, especially if you get grouped up with 4 teenagers who are friends.

WoW certainly does not reward or make life easy for loners, find a guild or find a different game is exactly how I would approach this situation.

Being grouped with a premade sucks in every game, played with some in lol and it's a terrible experience. I suppose in wow it's way worse because you need other players for loot etc, but you have to stand up for yourself too. If you did everything right then you dont need to fear their threats. Print the chat just in case.

Still though, if I noticed I'm in a group with a 3-4 man premade I would just leave the group. Don't want to get blamed for everything and risk getting ninjad in the end. Otherwise, I don't think theres anything else to do other than join a guild, it makes wow so much easier.

Honestly, just screenshot and report the behavior. You won't get banned with proper evidence.

Sorry about that, you can do screenshots and report people, who are harassing you, it sucks when you trying to chill but you get stressed instead, know that feeling, welcome to online gaming btw.

Well I think you are the toxic one and you dont even understand it.... On hadronox you SHOULDNT stand in ****. AND HE HEALS BECAUSE HE POISONS. If your healer is a priest he cant dispel it but YOU CAN. YOU DIED TO AGGRO? As a paladin? really? L2p, and use salvation/hop/divine shield. I cant get how people die on rets...

Ret pala is supposed to be helping the group but all you care is about your little self. The tank didnt do his job? really? did you help him do it?
According to your rant about hadronoxx you most certainly didnt because as a ret you could carry this fight by cleansing everybody and the boss would heal. And whats so bad about making a consession once in a while. The other pala wanted you to kings, they are the group you are alone, so just kings... Nobody is going to miss this improved might honestly as you could finish these dungeons without buffs as well...

Also on the loot, you FIRST ASK, then need for offspec because thats what greed is for..

I agree with OP, and the first two answers confirms it, they don't even read/understand the message but they attack/insult. With high popularity comes low IQ.

Made me quit Frostmourne at lv. 80, and probably Warmane servers since I was waiting for a new realm to comeback, for good. I don't have the patience for these kind of interactions anymore, you really can't get back to private server community after spending few years on retail/classic.
