Does Troll's Racial Bow Specialization also affect Crossbows? I am thinking about switching races to Troll and want someone to confirm if racial also gives 1% crit to crossbows. I searched on Google but haven't found a definitive answer.

No, it does not affect crossbows.

You must be realy bad to think that 300 ap (that scale not only ALL hunter dmg sources, but even pet) and 5% pet dmg is a worse than chance to land 1 extra AA as troll...
With amount of speed you get from gear and raid buffs, haste is WORST stat to gain for almost all classes, raw dmg scales insanely with all buffs and 3-4 DoTs that you apply during fight.
You are not in 6 minute sim to vouch for haste racial.
While you run as troll - haste gives you nothing
While you run as orc - your pet deals more dmg, your sting/trap/shot/talents deal more dmg.
Hero at pull - troll racial wasted/delayed for 40+ seconds.
Hero at pull - orc racial used after trinkets and pet buffs to prolong benefit of heroism and gain even more weight.
You need to burst something realy fast? Orc racial scales with everything that hunter use to deal dmg and works immediatly. Troll racial scales only with auto attack, you are not SP to have DoTs that scale with haste
If you can stop trying to glorify troll racial while trying to ridiculize the orc racial you can do the math yourself. 340ap isnt applied to 1 single shot or anything, in ideal situation (not missing anything due delay etc.), you can apply it to 9-10 skills (chim, aim, trap, steady shots combined.) plus 7-8 autos (more with bl/rapid sequences.). And 340ap is unlike haste autoshot, will crit reliably. And no even if the pet damage was that low like %4 (which you further reduce to prove your point as it seems.), %5 would increase the dps by %0.2, not by %0.005.Quote:

I wonder when will you realize that 0.0025 is %0.25, not %0.0025. Lets make it simple for you, lets assume that we do 95 damage and our pet does 5 damage. Increase that 5 damage by %5, 5 x 1.05 (%5) = 5,25, which is an increase of 0,25 damage. Lets compare the new damage with old one now, 100 with 100.25. Tell me the increase in percentage will you? And since you wanted sim, here is fully raid buffed sims even though it favors haste like mad.

Its this close only cause rawr treats haste like a godsend for hunter while its not, it even values 25hc neck way more than rimetooth hc for hunter.
