Add a Ranked 1v1 Arena Mode for Competitive Duels

Hey everyone,

I wanted to bring up an idea that I think could really enhance the PvP experience: introducing a ranked 1v1 arena mode.

Right now, competitive players mainly have 2v2 or 3v3 options, but there's a large part of the community that loves the intensity and fairness of pure 1v1 duels. A ranked 1v1 system would:

- Give solo players a competitive ladder to climb

- Allow players to improve personal mechanics and decision-making without relying on teammates

- Create a new competitive scene for duelists

- Encourage more class balance at the individual level

This could either be a separate queue from existing modes or integrated in a seasonal format with rewards based on performance, titles, or cosmetics.

I know balance is always a concern, especially in 1v1 scenarios, but I believe with proper tuning and feedback, it could be an amazing addition.

The business case :

The introduction of this system would allow some players who have invested in the Circle server to benefit from a return on their investment thanks to this scale.

Probably new Shadowmournes and other items to purchase.

ranked 1v1 in tbc lol you must either play rogue or lock and just want to **** on others

Ranked 1v1 or just 1v1 in general in an arena would be so amazing for the duel community, I would play the **** out of it when my 2s partner isnt online, would be amazing if it also counted for duel wins and loses statistic

Add another mod for autists, how about u ask to remove duoque from soloque instead, it is named soloque for a reason aint it ? or how about u ask for them to add reworked 2s system akin to the soloque where ur team sticks with and u don't have to constantly deal with invite / leave team anoyance ? but no it is 1v1 u ask for, ladder that will be inherently infested with hybrid dk's, pregs and other broken ****, a ladder that majority will not bother to touch after a week.

Pvp should be full scale pvp, I feel that 1v1 pvp has been limited only to duels in the dueling area when it can be useful even for more competition, I personally agree as there are many players who don't do 2v2 3v3, they only do 1v1

There's a "Challenges" NPC that you can talk to, and you can do 1v1, 2v2,3v3,4v4 or 5v5 VS friends

Its really fun.

why circle, 1vs1 arena idea is trash

1) PILLARS! 90% of fight its just kite beetwen offencive CD's
i played as destro, facing retri, he tactic is - HoJ > burst > kite, HoJ > burst > kite... BOORING! same with rogues without cloak, and classes with similar spells

2) CD's spam. how to win destro as unh dk? just use cd,s rotation 1>2>3>4>5>GG. gorgoyle > pet stun > anti magic > silence > anti stun/fear > GG

absence 5-10 min's CD's in 2-3 round give me atleast chance to win
(I'll go out a little off topic, my favorite BG's moment its when people fight me 3 vs 1 , i use shadowfury, and all 3 of them use pvp trinket, sweet)

3) no rewards for 1vs1 rating. all gear requires 2v2 3v3 soloQ rating
its just remove any sence to play 1vs1 mode

maybe we need class/spec locked ladder. like a if you cant climb into 2k because only hybrid dk's and pregs around. your placement in ladder calculate only between other destro warlocks. you still fight against all other classes, but rating requirment for items - calculated depends of destro ladder.
