The call to arms now echoes through the Argent Coliseum, in the shadow of Icecrown Citadel.

We are excited to announce that the Trial of the Crusader will open on July 4th at 14:00 server time, unlocking this iconic raid. There will be no downtime and the raid will become instantly available at the time above. Grab your trusted allies, hone your strategies, and prepare to face the champions of the Coliseum and the Nerubian terror that waits beneath the ice.

Content release

Onyxia will progress into its next content tier with this raid release by unlocking the new vendors and instances and relevant content automatically.

The content will include the Trial of the Crusader, related heroics (Trial of the Champion) and Vault of Archavon (Koralon).

Additionally, the realm first achievement: [Realm First! Grand Crusader] will require the raid to clear the Trial of the Grand Crusader on Heroic difficulty with all 50 attempts remaining, clearing the raid without a single wipe.

More details and information regarding the length of the content tier, the next raid to be released will be published in a new thread.

Battlegroup II – Season Continuation

Battlegroup II: Season Rewards and Rules
The Arena Season will end on July 1st at 19:00.
Eligibility requirements (you WILL NOT receive rewards if any of the following apply):

• Personal rating is not within 150 of your team rating.
• You have less than 70% of the team's games played.
• Extreme MMR dropping, win-trading, or exploiting. Violations may lead to team disbanding, disqualification, and possible account disciplinary action.
• Gladiator titles in 3v3 require 2000+ rating.

Season end info: Arena points will be wiped at the close of season. Honor points will remain.

Season 7 (Relentless Gladiator) opens alongside the raid, the Relentless arsenal becomes available and Furious Gladiator gear has its rating requirements lowered.

Rank 1: Furious Gladiator title + Furious Gladiator's Frost Wyrm mount.
Ranks 2-5: Gladiator title.
Top 0.5%: Duelist title.
Top 3%: Rival title.
Top 10%: Challenger title.

3v3 Bracket —
Rank 1: Furious Gladiator title + Furious Gladiator's Frost Wyrm mount + 150 coins per qualifying member.
Ranks 2-5: Gladiator title + 50 coins per qualifying member.
Top 3%: Duelist title.
Top 10%: Rival title.

Solo Queue —
Rank 1: Furious Gladiator title + Furious Gladiator's Frost Wyrm mount.
Rank 1 of each class: Supreme title.
Top 1% of top 30% (rating above 1600): Gladiator title.
Top 10% of top 30% (rating above 1600): Warbringer title.
Top 30% (rating above 1600): Plainsrunner title.

Rewards will be handed out shortly after the arena season concludes.

- Will ToC and ToGC share a lockout, or will we be able to do both of them in the same week?
- Will Onyxia release as well? There was nothing mentioned.
- Are there any news about when the new items will release in the store?

how will u do lootboxes on seasonal blackrock ?

will there be heroicmode boxes for higher rating honor cost. or will it be like ulduar boxes random chance for hardmode item??

pls do high cost high rating require for guarantee heroic items...otherwise there is 0 point to play on blackrock seasonal might as well play season8...

Dear Devs,

Myself and many others on blackrock spent a large fraction of their lifetime in BGs over the previous months. I just acquired the legendary hammer this week, and am still missing several other items from ulduar 25. Now we are closing this season, which means all that farming is going to be wasted. This is an insane waste of human life time.

When you switch to the new season, you should really, really consider increasing honor gains, especially from arena rewards. Otherwise the server is dead. You can see how dead it is already by looking at the highest ratings in solo queue. Further the MMR system needs to be reverted as with the current average team MMR matchiing high players will be teamed up with the lowest players, making it impossible to reach high ratings (therefore all the ratings will stay low, trending towards averaging out all playters).

Is GDKP getting banned when TOC releases ? or are you letting this slide by even in TOC ? ****ing over alot of guilds who cant recruit people caus they rather get gold / gear instead of investing too play the game as it should ?

I'd like to echo the queries above regarding how ToC / ToGC lockout will be handled, such as whether a ToC ("Normal") clear will be required to unlock ToGC ("Heroic") and whether the IDs are split or shared/dynamic?

Icecrown ICC style dynamic ID with no requirements would be my guess.

I assume Onyxia's Lair (WotLK edition) will be coming as well, but it's strange that it isn't mentioned anywhere in the announcement!

No you wouldn't have to clear TOC to unlock TOGC.

The lockouts were separated on all past progression realms. And they recently reverted it back to this on other realms.

It's highly likely they are separated because progression is built around it. The badge drops, trophies and vendors in particular. If it was only three months for example then only having two raids with such limited amount of bosses and loot wouldn't work very well.

Dear Chrisyn, imagine playing in Onyxia and not having the legendary hammer because you are an Rsham and the prio was the Hpala, an even then, he couldnt complete it either while we waste 3 hs a week doing Ulduar 25 HM every single ID because of the random drop of fragments. And same goes for trinkets for us, since the beggining of Ulduar, I only saw ONCE my bis trinket and lost it in dices against the Disco Priest.

So I think if your "waste of time" was only doing BG but at least you got the items, to me, it doesnt seems like a bad deal tbh
