Retail-like Weak Auras UI for Holy Priest
Holy Priest Weak Auras
Hi there guys. I'd like to introduce myself before explaining what I'm about to share. I'm Lunminas, a Disco Priest main from the guild <Fade>, I've been playing on Warmane for around 3 to 4 years now with some experience on retail.
This Weak Auras was made in attempt to fulfill something that's been missing from the contemporary Wrath of the Lich King community: New and updated User Interfaces. This project is essentially a start to make the 3.3.5a experience inherit some of the best improvents from retail content. Taking into consideration that Weak Auras 2 has been updated in August to be compatible with a plethrera of components from the origial retail addon, it's now possible to develop clean, functional UIs on it's new 2.18 build, with added effects, conditions, triggers, etc.
With this, I'd like to share my WA Import, but do realize that this does not work with old version of Weak Auras.

Features
There's one main group and another auxiliary group linked to the main one for this UI, they are separated in order to keep things organized. All the dynamic groups are dynamic for a reason, you won't see the UI this clogged, the screenshot shows all icons for all groups.
- The Main Group has a ton of functionality. Fundamentally, you'll have your 5 main abilities to track: Flash Heal, Prayer of Healing, Renew, Circle of Healing and Prayer of Mending. Why show the first two ones if they're not on cooldown? Because Flash heal has a proc and Greater Heal/PoH is cast faster if you have 3 stacks of serendipity. All of the abilities that have cooldowns will show a progression circle around them and desaturate when on CD.
- Renew will ask for a focus target always, that is to track your Renew HoT, and, more importantly, track your Inspiration on focus, which is shown on the bar ontop of Renew. If you do not use focus target at all, the middle aura and bar ontop of it won't work.
- The blue bar below your abilities is your mana, it also has a GCD tracker, both bars on either side of the UI are your hymns, the left one being Divine Hymn and the right one being Hymn of Hope. They both display special effects when used.
- The bars below your mana display the following: Cast bar, Serendipity duration and stacks (which have a special effect and turn blue depending on the ammount of stacks) and a Prayer of Mending tracker, which has an effect for each bar depending on the ammount of stacks, also tracking it's duration.
- The icons below the PoM tracker displays important cooldowns such as Guardian Spirit and Shadowfiend, if you have GTS equipped it'll also display that as well, with special effects when used.
Things to note
This UI has certain common characteristics, such as displaying important rotation abilities and cooldowns with glowing outliners for high priority purposes and also cooldowns with a desaturated textures so you know what's not up to be used. Important abilities will also display unique effects.
Comments on the UI
This UI wasn't a priority since I don't play Holy, but since our community manager Mercy asked for it and I wanted to do UIs for all specs of my main anyways, I figured it would be fun. I made some very very creative decisions on this one, one might say it's overly saturated with effects and glows. That could be true, but it's worth changing some things here and there with every project I make, and this was nothing short of fun! Hopefully the effects that I've chosen are fun and make the UI interesting instead of being an annoyance.
WARNING
Please do take note that this Import only works on version 2.18 of Weak Auras(Bunny67's), and also that resizing the original UI is done through the Main Rotation group, simply go to Main Group, group, Group Scale.
Import
As I said, this build is separated in 2 groups so we can keep it organized and modular. If there's things you don't want in your UI apart from the main group, you can simply not download it and it'll work just fine, also, the pastebin links can be changed easily, so if there's a new build, check the changelog and understand that it's already updated.
