Hello, i am looking for an addon to see the castbars under every player nameplates without targetting them or having them on focus. This option was implemented in the default interface in the following expansions.

How is this not considered a hack? If it is okay to patch WoW's executable, why is it not okay to inject or load custom DLLs? I believe this should be bannable.
There used to be posts here some 2 weeks ago and now they're gone. Why is that?
It was probably removed because it was a patch that modifies wow.exe to enable a feature that is not available to other players. In other words, it is a cheat.
As far as I know, there is no addon that does this in 3.3.5a. If there is one, I would like to know as well.

What I said about cheating was a direct answer to XChaos' question. Several posts were deleted in this thread likely due to someone posting a patch file for wow.exe to allow casting bar to be shown on all nameplates. That was clearly a cheat.
It is possible to create an addon like that even with the vanilla API, but it will suck—for starters, no way of knowing how long a spell cast lasts, etc.
