new player, is this normal?

I started today, lvl 12 now. And every 10 min the world server is down. is this normal? or am i just very unlucky whit the server having problems on my first day?

Yeah its not normal, don't worry.

World server going down is normal. However it might go down more frequently than it usually do, as it could have something to do with measures to combat multiboxing of +5 characters, which is a new thing. So it might be rocky few days until the issue gets fixed.

I believe the same as OhieMitzen said. This is something extremely exceptional. I can assure you that I have never seen it happen like this in the almost 8 years I've been here.

I've seen this happen several times over the course of years. Developers push new fixes in the morning and sometimes (rarely) they mess up.
