Wouldn't surprise me if they drastically reduced its drop rate or removed it altogether to make people spend $$ buying it on the store when its out. Same thing happened with Dragonspine Trophy in TBC.
The AV meta right now is extremely boring and borderline unplayable.
Horde queues are 2 hours (mercenary mode broken?) and the other BGs are an hour.
Server will be dead within a month if...
Items that you get arent special? HWL gear is literally bis until nax, and for some classes its bis until TBC. Have fun spending your entire life afking in av to get bis gear for the entire expansion...
Nothing will change considering PVP gear is HK based. People will only want to farm HK's and zerg wars in AV is the best way of doing it.
