Warmane Discord Bot

Hello Community,

First time i did Something for Warmane and i hope it lasts a bit longer than the rest of the sadly abandoned Projects i saw here.

Many ppl i do Pug's with faced the Problem that they had ninja looters in they're raids.

I started coding a Discord bot that should face that problem now.

The bot has the following functionality till now:


- Character Lookup: Look up a character's information.
- Blacklist: Add or remove a character from the blacklist to prevent him from joining any discord the bot is on.
- Character Nickname: Set a nickname on discord based on the character's name.
- Settings: Change the bot's settings. (disable or enable features)

As i dont want people to be blacklisted without any proof and control for all the users i decided to manage the blacklist myself and before someone gets added it has to be proofed.

Im writing on a report function where u guys can report ppl and they'll be added to the blacklist if there's a proof for the ninja.
These ppl won't be able to join any discord where this bot runs on.

Every of the functionality's of the bot are optional and u don't have to use them.

The char info command is directly using Warmane's Armoy API and gives u always the latest information about a character as well.
Should make the inspection a bit easier.

I plan to do a Gear score calculation later on for inspections.

This will take a bit more time

- Added Report Command (Report someone to the dev's to add him to the blacklist.)
- Blacklist-show command under development. (Shows everyone on the blacklist and for what) Only available to the developers.

@Warmane - Is it possible to get a achievements api? to check wich achievements the person has.

I aim specialy for LOD and Bane

idk if the api shows achievements but you can always parse the html.

At the momment im a bit stuck.

The Report command is done but the API Locked me out so i face the problem with charinfo.

I also implemented a rate limiter already but Warmane seems to have me permanently blocked.



Im in contact with the support to prevent this to happen again.

Thanks to all of you guys for the 80 servers that joined the project and the 11k players we provide our services too since we started the Project!

Im still maintaining the Bot and still providing the best support i can give!

Still trying to get better warmane API access and still no success!

News from the discord end i also have for you guys! We're now fully verified as a discord bot and have access to the discord developers channels wich brings the Project much further then it was until now. Im gonna rewrite the whole bot with new technology's to provide even better service for all of your needs!
