    PVP tank resilience cap

Hey guys, I wanted to discuss how much resilience is reasonable if your main goal is to tank in battlegrounds — defending bases in AB, carrying the flag in WG, etc.

I'm aware of the so-called "cap" around 1414 resilience, after which its effectiveness diminishes (but it still provides some benefit).

However, from what I've seen, some warriors go over that cap — 1550 or even 1600+ isn't uncommon.

So, if I’m using full PvP gear (Wrathful set + off-pieces + Relentless ring + Wrathful 1H and shield), with lots of resilience gems, and trinkets like the Corroded Key and Sindragosa's trinket — my total resilience ends up around 1500.

In that case, would it be better to swap some resilience gems for stamina to increase HP (while staying around or slightly above the 1414 "cap")? Or is it still worth stacking resilience even above 1.5k?

They go above the hardcap because they have absolutely zero idea what they are doing and just copy paste someone else who also has no clue what they are doing

1414 resil then go for stamina stamina.
Anyone that tries to convince you otherwise should be ignored as they dont know what they are talking about.

This setup I linked above has the required resil and then goes full stamina afterwards. You used to be able to see resilence on that website... Now it just shows percentage however.. Its about as min maxy as you can get with frontline prot warr in wotlk.
If you are alliance swap pvp trinket with sindragosa's flawless fang and use your braincells to gem resilence to make up for the resil that you lost. Alternatively also swap your belt for wrathful belt if your struggling to reach cap as human.

Stamina becomes much more effective once you achieve the 1414 resilience cap indeed.
