Can someone tell me why a 1h weapon costs the same amount of points as a 2h weapon?

For identical statistics, a rogue must spend e.g. 34 points, while for the same statistics 2h a dk must spend 17

This is simply a gigantic advantage in favor of the 2h spec.

On one hand what you says makes sense, but think that bosses that drop weapons don't drop either two 1-handers or one 2-hander, they always drop the same amount of weapons.
