1. Combat pve with fist weapons

First of all i couldnt find any combat pve builds that focuses on fist weapons so im posting this.
I play on Lordaeron, combat pve rogue and recently got fist weapon from CoS - http://www.wowhead.com/item=37693/greed. It looks so cool and i always wanted to play with fist weapons so I bought myself another from the set - http://www.wowhead.com/item=40704/pride
Untill than I played combat with swords and used tarales' build for talent tree (http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....ide-Combat-PvE, nice build by the way :D ) and when respecing for fist weapons i changed only Hack and Slash for Close Quarter Combat (sword talent for fist weapons talent).

So, two questions now, first is Combat Potency talent gives my succesfull off-hand attack 20% chance to generate 15 energy, my off-hand is a slow one (2.50 speed) and i think that might cause some problems when combined with this talent. Should i choose another telent instead of it?

Another is problem with Improved Poisons talent. I have 3/5 in it whick gives me 12% more chance to apply deadly poision which i need for Savage combat talent (everyone do 4% more dmg to posioned targets). Again, slow off-hand i dont apply deadly posion as much as i should.

I know that sword build is better (for dps) but i wanna play with fist weapons so id apriciate any help. Thanks :D

  2. Having anything else than a fast OH in combat spec is pure fail. Get a 1.4-1.5 OH dagger/fist and both of your problems'll be solved.

  3. Buy the 1.30 speed papercutter dagger on the AH for like 60 gold. Problem solved and even goes nicely with the CQC talent.

  4. Tnx guys, i understand what you're saying. maybe ill do what you advised but for now ill think of somethnig else. ill defenetly put more points in Improved Posions talent and see what to do with Combat Potency, maybe just leave it. I wanna play with both weapons that i got cause they look great... when i start raiding seriously ill switch to best dps build

  5. Well, you can go with Pride and Greed as far as PvP goes. Honestly, this pair works best on an Enh Shaman (even the design is thematic). As the rest already mentioned, just get a dagger in your off-hand and that's it. Keep the 5/5 Combat Potency if you're doing PvE.
