So everyone in this game is trying to make money. Whether they farm items to sell, or buy gold from the Warmane shop. Either way, you need gold. One of the biggest problems I see on the Auction House is pricing. It seems no one understands marketing. So the rise and fall of the value of an item whether it be reagents, armor, weapons, or mounts, etc....depends totally on the players. For instance, if I place an item on the Auction House for 100gold, then the next person places that same item for 75gold. The value will drop. However, if players were smart about it and wanted to try and keep the value up. Then they would price that same item for the same price of 100gold or since most people want to be on the top of the list. Just undercut the value by 1copper.

Example:
100g 00s 00c (original price)
99g 99s 99c (new undercut price)
And it's that simple. Yes, the items value was undercut by 1copper but it still maintains its integrity. Keeping the value on the higher end. Not to mention, when you undercut someone by more than a copper. You're really cheating yourself out of potential gold made. Another thing to remember about undercutting by a copper is, you're not messing the other listings up. The next person that shops for that item will see the prices are similar and will automatically purchase the next cheapest one.

Disclaimer:
Now will this little pricing guide fix the Auctions House? Not entirely, but those who use it will be all the more happier when they sell something on the Auction House. Some people care about the money they make, and some just don't care.

Good luck!!
