Help with WotLK

Hello friends, I've been a long time Cata player, played it since it first opened on this site. I played WotLK prior to cata, but honestly wasn't all that good at it. I'm thinking about going back to WotLK but just don't know anything about it and have some questions before i try it out.

> I'm only really interested in PvE, how are rogues in endgame pve in wotlk? i tried one out on Blackrock or whatever the instant 80 one is and in full pvp gear i was only doing 4k sustained dps as assassination, which is horribly low in terms of Cata, where i was doing 22k sustained on a dummy.

> Whats 'good' dps in wotlk? Like how much is expected of players when they run a RHC or something of those sorts?

Rogues where total crap before last 2 Updates in PVE. Now they are good and even guilds invite them in raids. You should be in top 5 on DPS meter. If you done 4k DPS with pvp gear that is not bad, that means with some tweeking and getting into staff combined with full heroic gear you should do 8K dsp which is good in WOTLK with self buffs out of ICC.

Don't expect to much of appreciation for being rogue. There are more classes buffing others more while being better dps too.
