Hey new guild master here! Just need some help with a few things please
Hi,
I recently created a guild with a group of friends and it has been fun and all, but how do I level up the guild? When I moused over it, it said I can level up through doing quests but what quests can I do to level it up. I have also increased my own character's rep to the guild but to no avail, the guild still remains at 0 exp. Sorry if it seems like I am a bad guild leader not knowing these basic things but I do need some help. Please share some basic knowledge/advanced knowledge that a good and respectable guild master should know. Thank you very much!
All the quest (even the daily or the dungeon/raid quest) make the guild gain exp, even the lvl 1 quest....so you need to do them or adding people that are levelling doing quest (both is better :D )....
Guild run of Raid and dungeon give exp to the guild....also doing guild achievements, arena and rated bg give guild exp..
Interesting. And I was wondering if it was just me. Started a new Alliance guild on Frostwolf with friends, created a new toon and have gotten it to around lvl 25 but still no Guild XP points and that with the 100% boost tabard. :(
UPDATE: after checking for bugs I found http://bugtracker.warmane.com/issues/11077 stating "Guilds can level up properly.
I believe the Experience bar is updated to current value during daily reset." Time will tell.
"Still unsettling after the loss of our guild with the hack on Molten, the transfer from from Sargeras to Frostwolf, and now trying start a new Alliance guild again (The Obsidian Legian) with ????? XP and ????? to next LVL. Now I have to explain the other members of the guild and any new members it's merely a server glitch and we are levelling. I guess when the guild starts making levels it will be easier to believe."
UPDATE: Don't know if this helps but it SEEMS instead of showing
Exp. Acquired/Goal
it is showing
0/(Goal - Exp. Acquired)
thus counting down - sorta. If so perhaps the blue bar simply doesn't like division by 0.
Either way my guild (The Obsidian Legion) still has over 10 mil to go for 2nd level (it's only a couple of day old now) so we'll see.
