is board combat legal?

there is a bug where a certain item [stack of wooden boards] attacks your target for a very small amount of damage. You get it from a vendor for reputation and gold. Is it legal to summon them in bgs and stuf for some hilariousness sake? what about in the open world? you can summon lots and i just want to know whether i will get suspended for doing so.

Ps: they are hilarious to watch.

Abusing bugs is bannable. If the item is not supposed to attack but it does then you might get banned for using it.
