Cataclysm DPS problems

Hey I am having DPS problems and I'm Survival.

I am full heroic DS. I don't have Vial though. My normal constant DPS in raids stays 30-35k. After bursts it also drops to the these numbers.

I think its too low compared to paladins and warriors and there are always other hunters with same gear doing more.

Help me to improve my DPS. I'll provide all needed information.

Help us help you, what's your stat prio you go with, what's your usual rotation, do you maximize your LnL usage by dropping ice trap etc And with rets censure over scale you will rarely beat them, and warriors in cata were always top dps so you won't really beat them either

you have some dps problems thats true, but dont expect beating melees on tank n spank fights. If im not mistaken there was post from blizzs somewhere which says they made for melees more dps sice they cant dps often. With bis gear you should do aproximetly 50k dps at baleroc in 25 raids.

I was reading up somewhere and I found that dps wise these are best dps in PvE.

1. Arms War
2. Fire Mage
3. Combat rogue
4. Ret pala
5. Surv hunt

As you can see surv is at #5 so don't feel bad if rets or wars out dps you :)

Something to note, don't initially burst at the beginning of a fight. Wait it out and pop your bursts once LnL procs. Pay attention to your Lock n Load procs and Black Arrow durations. LnL has a 6 second cooldown(1 cd of explosive shot after LnL charges are wasted) so once your explosive shot is available after LnL you can throw an ice trap and explosive shot. guaranteeing you 3-4 explosive shots back to back. The more explosive shots you have in total on your encounters the more dps you will do. i am 405 with vial normal all my gear was earned not donated for and i do about 45-50k sustained and at around 60k+ burst dps depending on buff placement. Melees will ALWAYS outdps you with the exception of feral druids and enh shamans cuz their dps is very burst oriented. Another thing to mention is that You should rapid fire AFTER heroism ends or AFTER 4p t13 ends. The more haste you have the less useful and efficient it is, sure it helps on burst to pop it all at once but if you are in sustained fights like majordomo or any bosses in DS besides morchok and spine the sustained will do better than burst in the long run. There's my two cents.
