Hey there, I have been experimenting with warlock specs lately.
I've decided to try demo due to my gear being pretty low for the moment.
I ran a couple of raids/did some BGs but I am having trouble comparing different items and deciding which one to take.
Now I have been using these modifiers taken from "Dots and you" guide on elitist but its for affliction warlock not demo.
Stat | early T7 | early T8 / high end T7 | early T9 / high end T8 | early T10 / high end T9
hit rating | 1.72 | 1.74 | 1.97 | 2.50
spell power | 1.52 | 1.66 | 1.72 | 1.85
haste rating | 0.98 | 1.37 | 1.62 | 2.04
crit rating | 0.61 | 0.86 | 0.97 | 1.23
spirit | 0.78 | 0.85 | 0.88 | 0.94
int | 0.23 | 0.32 | 0.35 | 0.44
So my questions is: Can I use these stats for demo or I should look for something else? Does anybody have the stat value modifiers for demo?
Stat values change a lot depending on your gear. Idealy use something like RAWR and update your gear after each change.
Generally best gems are sp (sp, sp + haste, sp + spirit for socket bonuses), and prefer gear with haste over crit. Go for haste + crit pieces for max personal dps or for more spirit to buff your raid dps (you are loosing a bit of personal dps, but each caster in raid is gaining about the same amount you loose).
I am aware of the stats I need.
Thing is for example when you compare 2 pieces of gear, what would you chose: 35 haste or 50 crit ( FOR EXAMPLE )
I know haste goes before crit, but when the ammount is not the same its not so easy, thats why I want to know the stat values/modifiers :).
Thanks for the input.
Cheers,
Nick
Edit: Ill just use the ones in rawr, even tho they claim not to be accurate.. why would they put it there then :D
