Don't know about that, but I know staff should do something about holy paladins abusing illuminated healing shield stack, it's getting really annoying in both arena and battlegrounds...
priests too...that moment when you see a resto shammy/affli lock team and the lock has almost 800k hp
It is an abuse because https://www.warmane.com/bugtracker/report/3793 was wrongfully dismissed. Having 540k shields stacked up wasn't what Blizzard had in mind when they implemented Battle Fatigue and it was hotfixed at a certain point in time to where it was always active in arenas. Just like drinking was changed to where you can't just sit for 2 seconds and have ton mana back, but I guess PvP on non-tournament realms, especially MoP isn't something Warmane really cares about.
As for holy paladins I belive they are abusing this: https://www.warmane.com/bugtracker/report/1898
Noticed this in an arena the other day (I am a Holy Paladin, and I refuse to exploit).
Enemy Hpala+Warr we were against, Hpala spammed shields on the warrior for up to 300k.
But he forgot about himself, so we just ignored the warrior and his 300k shield.
It's pathetic people have to do this in an attempt to win an arena.
(not trying to be rude!!!) It's kind of a silly question :P
But assuming you ask this more for a confirmation, yes it is bannable. The rules on this matter are quite straight forward

This has been discarded in bugtracker even... The only issue i see with shields is that not all of the paladin spells should be adding to the shield, and that way it wouldnt be possible to stack it very high.Simply using your skill should be bannable ? I dont share your opinion but I do think that if there is a bug ( and i seen paladins being litelary immortal in arena because of this shield ) it should be fixed and checked out by staff members as soon as possible.
I don't see this problem being any different than broken shaman spells for example that are being HEAVILLY ABUSED here ill name few major bugs with shamans :
- PRIMAL ELEMENTALIST never ending earth elemental that stuns non stop
- earthbind totem rerooting people over and over after being dispelled
- broken absorb from STONE BULWARK totem not being influenced if applied before entering combat
and broken mana gain from drinking cobo-cola
So if you are banning paladins for using their skill you might as well ban pretty much EVERY shaman in this game as well.Just my opinion you don't have to agree with me.
If you think about it, how could Warmane ban people who are just using their abilities? For example, during the Second Wind bug where it was not affected by battle fatigue, EVERY warrior was using second wind, yet I did not see any of them being banned when they were obviously exploiting the fact that second wind is not affected by battle fatigue.
In addition, since this issue has been dismissed for reasons that are very strange on the bugtracker, I am asking this question because it faces the similar issue of what had happened with Second Wind bug.
I'm tired of holy paladins abusing that ****, same as resto shammys, priests, etc...it's just disgusting...makes me wanna take a break from pvp till it gets fixed...there's no point in doing serious arena atm if you don't have one of the above...
It is not just about them being immortal they dont have duration on the totem if they use primal elementalist it is supposed to expire eventually.I am not sure about the time but it is DEFINITELY not supposed to last forever, you can check the tooltip info is there im too lazy atm :D
@edit shamans are by far the most broken class in a positive on warmane at this point. But definitely NOT THE ONLY one.

I sent BlueAo post from arena junkies and tried to inform devs about both drinking and shield stacking. The thread I posted about it got deleted and I was really disappointed by that move tbh. If you wish to support the drinking issue you can vote here: https://www.warmane.com/bugtracker/report/176. I think we really need someone from QA to focus a bit on PvP and interact with PvP community about bugs like these since they have been present since the arena started and I hope you agree with me when I say they are utterly gamebreaking.
I think that for start, before enabling arena ladder Warmane should fix these kind of abuses... Because its not fair to some players who bust their heads to get rating to be beaten and not ranked as they should be because of the abusing little angels... They are totally aware of what they are doing... Starting with absorbs, drinks and so on... I am a healer myself... But as a monk i never used drinks, on the other side i counted that priest was using drink for 37 times before losing... and its not us NOT holding him in combat... its him abusing the 80% speed.... Just fix this because its starting to be annoying... No skill, just abuse ftw!
