1. Problem with WoW.exe

    Hello,

for first time, sorry i'm typing here, but I don't know where to place this question. Yesterday i downloaded warmane WoW - Mist of Pandaria. On web you said: "Open WoW.exe, not Launcher.exe" so I opened WoW.exe BUT! everytime i run it (WoW.exe) I need to agree with the license terms, why? Everytime i run World of Warcraft application, I need to do it again and again. Can you help me please?

    Thank you a lot.

  2. haha .. the good old im reading issue.

The game is set to read_only and thus it your acceptance of the TOS cannot be written down.
    To fix this.
Close the game and browse to your installment.
x:\world of warcraft\ (where X is the drive letter you installed in on)
And open the WTF folder .. here you see a file called "Config.wtf"

Now right click that file and select propperties ---> and unmark "Read_only" ---> OK
Do the same with the upper directory's (world of warcraft / WTF) so your client isnt set as read_only.

The next time you start the game you once again are asked to agree the TOS but this time your acceptance is written down and thus doesnt come up again.

ps: This is a windows fixture. For other OS's check google how to unmark read_only settings.

  3. It works now, thanks a lot! :)
