So I'm looking into playing on Warmane but i was curious as to how these servers work. 4 main quests.

1. Do i start at lvl 1?
2. where are the servers located? (I'm East coast North America)
3. How do these servers progress through patches? do they just stay at the last patch in wotlk?
4. Hows are the servers? are they super smooth blizzard servers? I tried out another private server ***. unfortunately it was Euro but the server still seemed insanely clunky.

again I'm very new to the private server world. I'm just trying to relive my Disc priest tbc/wotlk nostalgia... Blizzard did a great job and completely and utterly destroying my class on retail.

Hello and welcome to the biggest WoW private server,

1. Yes (except 2 instant-80 realms)
2. Europe
3. WOTLK: 3.3.5a Cataclysm: 4.3.4 MoP: 5.4.2 . These are their final client versions, what we do is to enable content progressively (in some cases) by applying server patches and fixing current version bugs.

They are smooth and optimized (with capped population) not to have delays because of too many concurrent connections but depending on where you live and ISP you might experience more or less delay.
