Choosing a healing class

Hello guys, can i have a few moments of yout atention please?

Well, like you guys, i am really excited with this Lordareon realm, mostly because the idea of starting something new, as it should be played. With that in mind i decided to create a character with a new role to me as well, which is the healer one.

However, although i know which classes can heal, im not experienced with it. I would deeply appreciate if someone could tell me more about the healing classes: good points, bad points, which one will be more played, which one will be less, this kind of thing.

PS: my idea is mostly for PVE gameplay, but some little PVP wouldn't hurt.

From what I've seen is that Resto Druids are gods at 25m healing... No idea about the rest lol.

Personally I've always found priests to be a fun healer class to play. You can function more as a spot healer as disc and more of an AOE healer with holy. Also, disc priest in 2v2s arena makes for some interesting comps. And best part about priest is if you get bored of healing, you can always switch over to shadow.

druid - king of aoe heals, if u want to fill your screen with green go one of these bad boys...
paladin - king of keeping tanks up, enjoy spaming 1 butten the entire time, taking forever to regain 40k mana but hardest hitting heals in the game and tanks depend on it.
sham - fastest heals in game once u get haste stacking... can be fun for some, most interesting healing style imo need to know when to use what heal not to faceroll heals...
dis-priests - shielding as often as u can, pennance on cd fill with renews and flashheals
holy priests - kinda feels like a mix of pally/sham


i have personaly played all healers, and they all have their strengths, least of all i enjoyed was pally healing, most complicated would have to say sham healing, most fun would def be resto druid thou :D
