Show some love for those who PVP! - Alterac Valley

Hello fellow players and Warmane staff!

I am impressed with the amount of content that has been released for PVE since the last few months! I see that 3 - 4 raids are already out (and more on the way) and an average PVE'er gets to raid almost daily! That, to me, is amazing

However, This is an appeal to you guys to add more content for PVP, since it hold a large chunk of the population on the server! Therefore I would like you to consider launching Alterac Valley. Its an amazing map and really really fun.

Few reasons you should consider this :
a. New content for PVP not released for quite some time
b. Queue time for BG's is about 1-2 seconds on FW. This means there should be no shortage of players for 40 man queues.
c. Lots of PVP players like to queue for LFR/Raids in order to their spend time. This should not be the ideal way of things.
d. The name of the server! Alterac Valley is home to the Frost Wolf clan, the only faction (for horde) to be associated with this BG!

Please do consider! I am sure the community will show overwhelming support to this idea.
I request some one from warmane staff to acknowledge this post aswell!

when i get that bg i instant leaves. because who the **** wants to spend 1 hour with ******ed people in a bg that don't defend towers and just stand in boss room for a wonder.

They should not release it.

Release gold mine bg instead, or make a custom pvp zone where you can teleport to and just fight with the group you have against others that teleported their.

i agree AV should be launched. It was before , then it was closed to unknown reasons to me. Also if you launch AV please fix the option to check off certain bgs, cuz i remember one of the problems big bgs like AV and isle caused was that it would start a queue when there arent many people on the server and that way no bg would be played a long time, till there were enough people for AV for instance.

I dont get why Warmane is already working on siege of orgrimmar while 6 out of 11 BGs are still closed.

Since I'm an achi whore I have plenty of stuff to keep me occupied but releasing AV would be tops! I prefer 40min HK grind in AV than 7min WsG or 10min EotS wins that are going on atm..

Only PvE stuff is getting released. I came to the point that I consider stop queueing for bgs or quit..

Yes please implement AV! It is the most fun BG of all. I love it. I play wow because of massive pvp!

AV would indeed be a great addition to current state of PvP. It's still unknown why the battleground was closed as it was nearly fully working and it's very well scripted. Perhaps quests are not working as they should, but 40v40 man pvp with towers graveyards and stuff is just marvellous.
Another important reason to release AV is the level of current pvp. Top PvP players are completely bored of playing random battlegrounds because when playing with friends in a premade any WSG TP ToK or whatsoever is just very easy win for them. Carrying an AV with 5man premade is a real challenge.

Im really wondering how hard it is for a dev to fix a bg. I mean, doesnt it take much more time and effort to script a dungeon or a raid with trash mobs, boss encounters and item drops?

This leads me to the question why the devs are constantly working on releasing new dungeon and raids while scripting a new bg would probably be less time consuming and would make the same amount of players happy.

Dont get me wrong, we also need working pve content but doesnt it make sense to fix the remaining BGs first (especially when they are already half working) and then care about more complex stuff like siege of orgrimmar?

1.There is no such thing as pvp community,and never will be for as long as there's no common goal for it.
2.@OP Impressed with WHAT now? we got 3 raids,almost no HC content,and we are farming ToT like it's a 5man instance. Top end PVE guilds are bored to death atm. So instead of giving us meaningless 1 hour zergfest that AV is,maybe pass along some update on how twins are coming along.

This thread is not for the same old PVE QQ. I gave my opinion about the PVE content that has been released over last few months. So if its not the same as your opinion then go make another thread for it. This thread is created only for :

1. Appeal to Warmane for PVP content
2. Show the overwhelming support of the PVP community through their comments (yes there is a community, get to 2.2k rating then talk, high rated players have each other added for Arenas, RBGs etc, Whole guilds collaborate to PVP)
3. Get a response from Warmane staff about their opinion on the matter
