Pandaria mastery proc from lightning bolt while moving

it seems like lighting bolt doesn't proc elemental overload when casting on the move, however it does proc if you remain stationery and cast.
can somebody confirm that? ty


Also when you get a lava surge proc while you cast lightning bolt and fire both spells at the same time, are they both able to proc elemental overload?

I haven't tried it, but what i find curious is that sometimes i just feel that the damage that i deal with the shaman is lowered by significant amount. With same buffs and same stats i do sometimes two different damages. For example my character atm is ilvl 529 and i got 30% haste, 51% mastery and 35k SP. Yesterday i was doing dps test at the Raiding Dummy and the biggest dmg from the LavaBrust was 380k and 320k for Lightning Bolt. Today with same buffs, same stats the biggest crit with those spells were LavaBurst 280k and Lightining Bolt 230k. I can't figure what might effect this dps drop. Btw i don't if you seen it, or it is just a bug with me but the paladin's buff for mastery actually decreases your mastery with 3000.

I never noticed anything wrong recount wise back on stormstout while PvPing (ain't nobody got time to stand still).

I can confirm about the part that Lightning bolts doesn't proc elemental overload when casting on the move. I tested it by casting 100 Lightning bolts while i was moving none of them proc'd. Then i tried casting them without moving and on the second LightB i got a proc.
