Battlegrounds not working (not sure what do)

SORRY IF THIS AN EXTREMELY ******ED QUESTION BUT, yeah.

So battlegrounds are lvl-90 only? or is my game just broken because honestly, I can't tell.

I'm kinda new to this and I'm not sure if it's level-90 only or my thing is broken because I was hoping
that I'd be able to do bg's at level 70-ish :|

EDIT: I guess telling what happens when I try to do bg's would help, stupid me >.<

Basically, when I queue for battlegrounds on my lvl 72 Undead Monk it always instantly finds a game, but when I click on "Join Battle" the box goes away but nothing happens , after that, the game wont even let me leave queue, I just get stuck in a broken queue.
