Don't know if this was mentioned before, but as you added a dynamic mob respawn with release of TBC why not add the dynamic item respawn? To put it into example the more mobs u kill the more they respawn, but for quests like picking the book/scavening supplies in Hellfire which has a fixed spawn point, camping that thing with 15 ppl stacked on it could be fixed with a shorter respawn? I know we don't have to do all quests and can just skip the collecting ones, but some of them have followups which give a certain item/dungeon quest/****load of XP that we wanna do/get?

Gameobjects do have a dynamic respawn timer, however it uses a different method than creature's and most likely still needs some tweaks. Do remember though, dynamic respawn timers are only enabled for the initial mass of players on content releases and will end up being disabled again relatively soon.
