(Quest help) They grow up so fast

In the horde version of the quest. I was finally able to get the hatchling. I can obtain the rugged leather and the rune cloth just fine, but the teeth are the problem. I was told that I would have to turn on track low level quest in order to recieve the quest from the hatchling but I have yet to recieve any. It's been around 3 days now.

I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong, or if the quest is just not working.

I'm on the Mist of pandaria server and it looks like a ticket was created for it about a month ago. although it's for the alliance side of the quest. I will just assume that the quest for both sides is not working. Thanks.
