I know that something was done when TBC was released practically halving the amount of honor gained from bgs in half. I don't think they will change that in TBC but I hope it will be reversed in WotLK. Please let the honor gains in WotLK be normal. Can a staff member please reply (and hopefully say gains will e normalized). Thanks.
i dont understand why Warmane dont promote pvp ........everyone farm raids/dungeons like there is no tomorrow , im sure pvp can be funny if we can get s2 gear atleast.......
I dont see why people do PvP at all at lvl 70, or before at 60, you get to see nothing new and its so ****ing unbalanced because of wotlk stats there is iterally no point in even doing it. Honor rewards mean nothing, either.
Just do PvE, raids specifically, because you'll never get the chance to do them once wotlk hits besides some 3 man runs.

It's not like people are asking for much though. It seems like all the complaints of PvPers can be summed up into two main grievances:
- Either s2, s3, or s4 armor should be available for honor instead of only s1
- Increase the honor rate to pre-TBC levels or add Call to Arms
If these things were done, no one would be discussing anything PvP related at all.
At this point, it doesn't matter so much though. TBC is already halfway over, so it's kinda late.

I've heard in-game that there are going to be some fixes to PVP on Lordaeron. I came here to check and couldn't find much, but there was a recent post by a Mod on this subject and it's looking hopeful. It's great the mods have confirmed there will be fixes.
I think it's constructive and good that they acknowledged their custom changes to game mechanics cause PVP on Lordaeron to not be in good shape. It's good they're going to fix it.

Because there's some pople out there that doesn't care about PvE at all, you know?

Slaying 10 year old scripted dragons is fun, fighting thinking and learning people is not.
I've met a lot of cool and impressive people so far in wsgs. You have it backwards, PvP is always new, PvE is an old sandbox that never changes.

Would you care to link to this post you mentioned? I can't find it anywhere.

no, pvp is always the same too, in pve you need to know the mechanics of every boss and how to counter them and so is in pvp, you must know the mechanics of other classes in order to counter them, once you learn that there really isnt any room for "new" things to happen, that pvp is always new is just a illusion

I'm not biting. Anything can happen in 15vs15 & 40vs40 random player compositions.
s2, s3, or s4 armor should be available for honor. S3 would fix the problem, players would queue up generating more honor/AV

nah it's still the same thing just in bigger scale, hence i said it's an illusion
agreed, would love if there was an alternative to arena for wotlk pvp gear too, maybe having best pvp gear require achivs like battlemaster, conqueror, tens of thousands of HKs, wouldnt mind if it required a ridiculously high amount of honor either, AVs are just way too much fun
