Bug: Red Question Mark, No Melee Weapon Equipped, No Ammo, etc.

So, here's a consistent problem I'm running into: I rolled a hunter and when I get through the racial intro, grab my first quest, and then try killing things, I can't. I have a bow, but the rough arrows in my ammo pouch are registered as a red question mark. I have an axe, but I can't use any of my abilities because it's bugged and says I need to equip a melee weapon in my main hand. I have a red question mark on my action bar for auto attack. I have other red question marks for items in my inventory.

Things I've already done to resolve the issue: delete the Cache folder. Delete the WTF folder. Rename the Interface folder. Rename the WTF folder. Redownload the Warmane client for WOTLK patch 3.3.5a (12340).

Any advice or help in regards to this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

It seems there are some server issues. Based on some forum posts I made a timeline:

2 hours ago (your post): you encountered this problem
45 minutes ago (somebody asking how to connect): server became not connectable at all. People (including myself) get stuck at the "Connecting" message.

it seems it's crashed or something. Probably another DDoS or Cloudflare/softlayer/etc. issue
