One simple question, I'm thinking about getting Shadow's edge via points on a toon, by doing so Shadowmourne quest chain still requires me to gather the primos and rest of items? (assuming I haven't done any of the quests)

yep,u will but the smourne quest chain aint working so no need of u to do the quest
