Just go into Raid Finder and join Last Stand of the Zandalari (ToT) during peak hours. Alternately, you could join global and get into a group doing a ToT rep farm.

Here is how to get rep to the different levels...

Friendly - sometimes, people make ToT Rep runs - that is, you go and defeat the minors with fairly low items, and basically try to kill them with least deaths - start with Waterbender! They give a small amount of rep; Then you can buy from the Sp-a. VP items, though not all;

After a point, though, you will no longer get rep unless by the bosses - 343 by one. Two options here - LFR - but, here, the group will most likely defeat 2 (out of 3) of them, so this will be Slow and booooring; the drops are ~502 ilvl items for your class, or 81-86 g + sometimes [Blood Spirit] or an egg/pet. The difficulty here is "clicker", and, honestly, i am not sure why we almost never defeat The council :D ; if you do, you get some VP + the first ToT achievement - and no raid lock.

The other option, is, with a premade group from your guild - which is ok, if your people play it often, but takes quite a lot of time, because people usually want to finish it to end - 11 bosses! Here, each boss gives rep, and it isnt all the same "stack mid!" "don't stand in front nor behind him!", "dps harder!", "focus Sul"; items given are ilvl 522, and it is more interesting overall - but, you must be in a guild that would accept newbies and is raiding...

There is a third option as well - actially, Not an option -.- ... There are people on global, who usually make groups, but asking for the achievement that you have cleared the whole raid - [Pinnacle of Storms], and items to simply claim dps victory over the bosses. Buuuut... yep, as a newbie, you just can't go with them, and if your people (guild) isn't a raiding one, or you don't have, you just can't join - which is actually not well done by the "organisators"... Still, sometimes, some people try to make a raid for everyone, as toes or msv - i went once, and got highest dps, without staying in water, nor spamming the spells with the gcd, and with my pvp wand... Basically, we failed directly :D And yep, i have almost never encountered such a group ever on global another...

So, tot rep runs - don't make them in LFR!!! , and then LFR or if you find fellows to play the ToT raid :)
