Ulduar and Val'anir

Hey, I've heard that 2 bosses in Ulduar are bugged, and thus not doable. I know that the last boss is bugged but does someone know the name of the other one? Also, can someone tell me if the Val'anir quest works?

A few bosses in Ulduar aren't doable, not only 2. And Val'anyr quest doesn't work.

actually it does work. you just need to take all the shards it would normally cost and PM a GM and they will give you the mace.

if your talking about the actual questline. ofc not. you need yogg for that and since he is not working the quest line is broken.

Hello boyz.

It's best not to step in ulduar until some serious fixes are made or the lordaeron core gets transferred over to check it out.

Right now it's one of those places where you would see a "Stay out" sign in front of.

lol then you messed up because i know of two people who had got it pre moltdown legit through a GM. i guess it is you who fail to amaze sir sorry. ask any staff member and they will tell you the same unless the policy has changed. i highly doubt you or your friend had the shards though. it takes literally a hell of a long time time to do considering the drop rate and considering the drop rate is even lower than retail here. also the fact that ulduar was closed for a long time. and you are telling me you both had 30? sorry i might believe 1 but 2? naw ill call bull.

i dont know what item you cant use. in fact explain to us why you are lying trying to act as if you know something because...

there really is no item involved other than the shards themselves once u get 30 and combine them (by right clicking on them which the shards say in green text when you loot them) which leads me to believe you have no clue what you are talking about. you take the combined shards to the archivum console turn in the quest and get the one for yogg. there is nothing to do in the questline other than yogg. So at what point in the quest chain cant you use an item exactly? you make it seem like its a huge questline or something. it is 2 quests (1 of those being yogg) the only possible place you use any item would be at yogg when you have to throw the unbound fragments, thus yogg being broke IS the only possible item useage in the questline thus like i first stated yogg being broke means GG contact a GM.

so with a questline that is literally short (2 quests) i am amazed at how little you know about the actual questline. i remember from retail days. you could have at least googled the info about the quest before pretending to act like you actually know what you are talking about. kids. 4 years of the same stuff.

He prolly meant that he or his friend had 30 shards, which I highly doubt because as you've said the staff has been following the policy "Get shards, we give you the weapon" since dinosaurs were walking on these lands, it's almost impossible to get those 30 yards unless you've played actively farming Ulduar for quite some years (Because some bosses are unkillable what means less possible dropped shards).

What amazes me is how could some pretenders come to the forums to pretend they're the real deal.

idk either mate. i guess they just want to act like they know what they are talking about to look smart or to bash people at random. like i said its the same thing 4 years now for me. the only thing that changes is the lies. you are right though. half the bosses were never scripted or dropped loot for the longest time either not to mention the entire instance being shut down for a time. the two guys i know of had it 3 years or so ago and i have no idea how long they farmed it or if the x20 and x15 rates made a difference back then in the dropping of the shards, but for last 2 years its been nearly impossible to farm and we run a ton of ulduar and maybe get 1 shard per 2 runs. maybe

edit: unless he tried to turn them in for class that is not a healer. which you could not do in retail. it was specific use only for healing classes. either way his whole "cant use an item in the questline" speech is plain wrong.

"I know of two people who had got it pre-moltdown". Nice, pre-moltdown consists of years. I'm talking about a couple of months before the crash. So if people got it AGES AGO by contacting a GM and I tried that a couple of months before the moltdown without success it means yes they changed their policy, which also means that right now their policy is still the same as a couple of months pre-moltdown, which is to not complete the quest. Hard to understand? I can draw too if it makes it easier to comprehend.

And the quest "Ancient History" doesn't work on Warmane.
You get the 30 shards, transform it into the Shattered thing, get the quest, and when you try "talking" to this table (the "item" that I mentioned, just looked up a video now) nothing happens (screenshot below is how it's supposed to be):



You can go try yourself (unless they fixed it post-moltdown, haven't tried farming shards yet).

Right now, the quests do not work but you can still obtain valanyr by collecting 30 fragments(which is insanely hard to do). I asked a GM(2 or so months ago) and that's what I was told.

now all of a sudden you remember what is broken? now all of a sudden realize there is no item that you cant use? now all of a sudden you remember the entire questline? it was hard to remember the other quest in the 2 questline chain of turning it in to the console?

sorry if that was the GMs response i would have taken a screenshot of it for sure and went above his head in game. by the way do you have any proof of this at all? any video or screenshot of your 30 shards or your convo with the GM? but since this has always been policy as far as i can remember i think its just easier to call you a liar.
