First of all, pls dont mention the name or talk about any other private server in this thread.
I recently watched Dodgykebaab's new video about the best and worst private server of 2015.
I noticed in this video and also in Dodgykebaab's previous videos that when it comes to Warmane he keeps talking about our Cata realm. It is kinda weird that only cata, which is our most unpopular and lowest populated realm, is mentioned. On the other hand Lordaeron, our most popular realm with a insane population of 10k players, is hardly mentioned at all.
Whats ur opinion about Dodgykebaab's recent videos?

I actually think he's quite fair. He just has high expectations, some people don't share those expectations so they call him a troll and think he's a jerk, but in all honesty i think he's being perfectly reasonable with his opinions. If you don't, then i feel bad for you because you just have really low standards. I personally enjoy playing something that works the way it should, or at least mostly the way it should and there's nothing wrong with this.

He has some pretty convenient "high expectations", not mentioning Lordaeron but putting lesser quality servers up on that list. It's been pretty obvious for a very long time that he is biased against this server. Insulting people because they disagree with his opinion is also extremely crude. Lastly, you say you want to play on a server where things work. If things work better on other servers, then why are you here?

OnTopic: Dodgy may be a bit harsh with his opinions but he isn't wrong. I've played on the Cata realms, and i know how it is. I hope they get the attention they need.
Also, he probably did not account Lordaeron because it just recently released WOTLK content, making a video of nonwotlk content for a realm that will be progressive wotlk would not be fair.Edited: December 26, 2015

Dodgy is just a kid who hates Warmane and takes any opportunity to talk crap about the server due to the fact that he got banned for breaking rules before. There is no reason to give him the attention that he craves.

Dody does have a bad habit of focusing on issues and ignoring others. Not to mention he often ignores context. And its also true that he has beef with Warmane/Molten. That being said he is still a better reviewer than most and is more trustworthy and humorous.Edited: December 26, 2015

******kebaab is way too biased against Molten/Warmane and that is clear to anyone who watches his videos (and isn't having a *****y fit because the realm they play in isn't in focus right now). There would be nothing unfair about giving Lordaeron focus in the review, just like Warmane is giving it focus on fixes, because otherwise he's intentionally just aiming at what is getting very little work now and ignoring the improvements made on the new WotLK realm. But how could he bash Warmane and give his ridiculous feces-statuette awards to someone else if he did that?
I'm curious to know what people who work for Warmane think about it, though. He has a story of focusing on the bad only ever since he got banned (and lets not forget him coming to the forums and demanding to be given maximum level, fully geared characters to make reviews "or else"), so was this any surprise?

The reason why? people get mad @ Warmane. Its due that they put out an expansion and then they leave it behind broken to release another expansion.
If you track the sequence it goes like so: LK>CATA>MOP>LK. The reason he aims the hate on Cataclysm is due that it has been out for so long and nothing gets fixed (small fixes due to people QQ). Many classes have broken specs, and some are 90% broken to the point that, they have become useless due to " lets break it and not fix it since we can't" A good example way back was Warlocks, and now its Fire mages.
If they took the time to fix and work an expansion before releasing a new one and reducing the quality of the ones already out. Then I might disagree with Dodgykebaab. The worst mistake Molten/Warmane has ever done was releasing Mop, then followed by Lordaeron. Keep in mind they were trying to get WOD out after Mop, wich it would have been even worst.
You don't skip things b/c you can't fix them. You fix them and then you move on. I think my oldest account is from the end of 2009 to start of 2010. I have notice when new things come out, more things become broken, but then again you can't expect everything to be working when they are trying to please many people. Who have differents liking in different expansions.Edited: December 26, 2015

He reviewed cataclysm when it was still popular , and i agree with him. He didnt mention lordaeron , because Wotlk content was not realised then. Im sure he will review it this year , im wondering what he will say about it

It really seems like Dodgy is intentionally reviewing our Cata realm because he knows that it got the least developer attention in this year.
It would make more sense if he would review our most populated realm instead of the least populated one...

Well said! I couldn't agree more. Yes I feel Dodgy is biased toward WM, but I feel with his past with Molten staff and server issues, it's a well deserved biased attitude. Some people are just fanboi's and they don't wanna hear anything but the good things, but that's not how the world (of warcraft) works.
I personally feel these days that WM is finally on the right track and I know, I know people want Cata and MoP fixes and they want them now, but let's be honest here for a moment, trying to fix Cat and MoP and.... trying to push a WoD server out just doesn't make any since what so ever. The best thing WM can do is finish what they've started and then....
hopefully they'll do the same to Cata that they've done to WoTLK and then move on to MoP and just move most of Cata's core over to MoP, so MoP isn't more of a hassle then it needs to be.
As bugged as Cata and MoP are, i can honestly say and i feel Dodgy would agree with me on this, i see potential and a good bright future for Warmane, it's just gonna take some time to get there, and with Kaer Wolf behind the wheel now, I think they got the right man to do the right job.
Fact: If Dodgy had given WM all this praise and awards, then that would have been truly biased, just biased to other Private Servers that might be working on things longer then WM has. WM is still in a good bit of recovery from Molt-down and still has a ways to go, but at least it seems like a bright future now.

I agree, but they can't go and close those expansions now. That would only upset people even more. So they have to work with what they have. They do get + points from me for not opening a WoD realm like they wanted to earlier this year. That would've only made things much worse.
If calling it that makes you sleep better at night, then by all means. But if you think I don't have my criticisms towards Warmane, you're either an ignoramus, or you have someone's **** too far down your throat.
As a player, I don't disagree with you. People have their reasons for having their beefs, and **** happens. But he's not just a player. He's a reviewer. As such, people look to him for facts and unbiased information.

Well what do you want him to review? MoP really isn't any better off then Cata and WoTLK (L) doesn't even have all of it's endgame content yet. So seriously, what do you think he should review to give an award to WM?
Now I totally bet you anything that WM get a big ole awesome reward next yet when they get everything on Lordaeron done, but til then, there just isn't enough to go off of.
