Technical The program world of warcraft can't be opened. (MAC)

Dear,

i just downloaded the wotlk installer with new models.
and when i try to open this there just pops up a window saying:
"the program World Of Warcraft can't be opened.

I'm currently using a Macbook with the latest update El Capitan 10.11.

And i'm now downloading the old models version of WOTLK.

but still you guys got any idea?

It would help if you post a screenshot of the exact error message.
It's possible that your Mac will only open signed apps by default.
You should be able to make an exception for it, if that's the case.

Well my version is in dutch and it just translate's to the program World Of Warcraft. And it doesnt say anything else, my setting are set to accept downloads for everyone in privacy settings.

I have exactly the same problem i think that it's about the last update of mac that we made, that's sucks a lot

This is the error i get, i tried fixing it by putting it in the application folder,
but still the same error! it's in dutch as i said!

FIXED IT! had to install a file and then bring it to the application folder
