Easy, there was on devlog link where you can download game from torrent, but only you need just wow.exe file from that torrent, which will give you 5.4.8 version of your current wow. Easy

The normal download link has a dropdown menu, where you can pick between the 5.4.8 version and the 5.4.2 (which is listed as "old")
