Account Name Taken But Not In The Database?

I am trying to create a new account using the same Account Name I had from before the server wipe, but the site says "That account name is already in use, try again." When I go to recover the password using that Account Name on the off-chance I already created the account but didn't remember, it says "The information provided does not match any accounts."

Is my old account still around?

Edit: Since this was my first post on the forums, I just realized that this account's Forum Name is the Account Name I am trying to create. This account is using a different Account Name other than "Tavok"

Is this the reason I cannot create the account?
