UNINSTALL uTorrent, it includes a BitCoin miner since last update
uTorrent has practically become malware: since the last update it contains a BitCoin miner which will suck some of your CPU power.
There are many alternatives, no reason to keep on using uTorrent.

Yes this is true.
It installs a shady background process which uses your computers CPU to mine bitcoins for them. I did not update mine and just recently uninstalled it.

I'm using bitcointorrent.

Why would they do that?
Now I'll be using qBittorrent.

Or just use older version. I'm using 2.2.1 version which is best for me. No ads, no unnecessary extensions, no BTC miners.

For $$$, it's the only explanation.
They started with ads, now malware.
I guess that's the natural consequence of popularity...
No big deal for all of us, plenty of alternatives to choose from

Why would you use newer version of µTorrent anyway? Deluge or nada.

I heard a lot of great things about qBittorrent , sooner or later I'm gonna transfer to it also (using bittorrent atm ).

Bitcomet is malware. And adware. One of the very few clients worse than uTorrent.
