1. MoP Keybinds resetting after each login

haven't seen a post about it, and i'm sure there are at least a few people with this issue. anyone know a fix for it, or what could be causing it? It gets rather annoying resetting all of my 30+ keybinds every time i logout and back in >.<

  2. That is because of read-only on your config files. Make sure to remove read-only property from the whole WTF folder to avoid further similar issues.

  3. can u help me? when I uncheck "read-only" property from wtf folder it always automaticly check it back

  4. in-game: Open Key Bindings Settings> Uncheck " Character Specify Key Bindings"
After that your Key-Binding should not be resetted anymore

  5. But this is useless for me. I dont have the same Binds wirh every Char. All my chars have differnt Binds on his actionbars so this wont be a solution for me '~'

  6. I solved in thsi way: My bindings were resetted on my Char so I closed wow> Copied my WTF folder from old MoP client to the new Client ( to re-gain my bindngs)> ---then went into: WoW Folder > WTF > Account > "AccountName" > "RealmName" > "CharacterName"
    Once there I Selected "bindings-cache.old " and "bindings-cache.wtf" ( so 2 files) >right click on both of them> Properties> ENABLED "Read-Only".
    Problem solved

  7. can u help me? when I uncheck "read-only" property from wtf folder it always automaticly check it back
Same here. The only thing that works is unchecking the "character specific keybinds option" in game every time I log on. Which I suppose is doable, but it seems odd that my wtf file won't let me uncheck "read only" - it keeps changing it back.

    - edit -

I solved the problem by using a variation of skullbashat's suggestion above. I previously used the same keybinds for all my characters, so I didn't have any bindings saved in each character's wtf file. So I cut and pasted the bindings cache from my general wtf file into my specific character's wtf file, made that read-only per skull's suggestion and now it works fine. I assume someone would have to do this for all his characters, but it doesn't take long.

  8. Both replies above, work for players who have their previous keybindings, but it doesn't work for the ones who don't. What about those players who want to use an specific keybindings for a particular character from now on? What about those players who want to change some of their general keybindings or add some more?

  9. Is a hotfix incoming soon or players who have different binds with his chars have to play without keybinds now?...

  10. When I un-ticked the "read-only" attribute for my WoW directory, and logged in, it worked fine and I wasn't stuck at "success!"... Then when I logged out to resolve my keybinds-issue, I couldn't log back in since. I get the "success"-error again and every time I un-tick the "read-only" attribute, it just re-ticks itself immediately :/ Halp please

  11. Could someone make like a good guide or video how to do this ? everytime i untick read only and i start WoW it goes back on read only
I tried the options above but nothing helped or i just didnt really get it cuz im not smart at all :D

  12. I did all you have said my and it worked fine for yesterday but today my binds got reseted again...
    Warmane please fix this bug.
Btw uncheck specific isnt a solution for all players becouse a lot of player have diff binds with his chars.
Highly annoying to bind ur bars after each loggin or relog.
There must me anything warmane can do to fix it. It isnt playable atm.
