Technical Brand new, can't get past character creation.

I can login just fine. When I try and connect to a server it stays on connecting to server before inevitably disconnecting me. If I hit cancel on the server I want to connect to, I can click on char creation for the server, but again it stills disconnects me. If I just quickly make a char and try and play the game, it will again stay on connecting to server before inevitably disconnecting me. Not sure what can be causing the problem, I am also pretty bad at using computers efficiently. Any help at all would be amazing! Would love to relive old game memories with friends again :(

Negative. I think the servers are being updated or going under maintainence now so that could be it.

Could be.. if the problem persists I would try these steps.
1. Network power cycle (unplug modem for 10 seconds as well as your ethermet cord)
2. Go into your WoW folder and delete your cache as well as the WTF folder (save your keybinds file inside)
3. On the website go into your account, services and then unstuck your character (will be moved to your current hearthstone location.. Could be a bug where you're currently located in game)

Basic steps, I know.. but you'd be surprised what can fix these problems. Keep me informed if these don't help!

I tried again, it seems the issue has resolved itself I just can't get into the server because it's too popular , I will monitor it and see if it is actually resolved. Thank you for the help though!

It's definitely worth investing $10.00/30 days to skip the queue.. Especially if you plan on playing during EU peak hours but good news on the connection.
