Made a guild on my character named Moonback on the server called Lordaeron, spent ten gold on the crest and one gold on a guild charter signature. I got all of the signatures, everyone left, went to prepare my guild and I logged out to restart the game and make sure everything worked a-okay. Well when I logged back in it said I not only did not have a guild, but I lost all of my gold that I invested into it, and no one else I had invited to it specifically was in it.
[Edit] I just made back some gold in order to "try making it again", but I'm not going to do anything until a game moderator or someone in general can get back to me on what the hell happened. I also know I never typed /gleave or /gquit or anything, I didn't leave the guild.
Can someone help? Maybe explain this? I don't expect a single thing, but I worked hard so I at least want some kind of reply.
Your gold counter is syncronized fast with the realm - else you could not do trades in a stable way. The Guild system not so much. It may even be very laggy. As guildmaster i often see for example a member level 80 infront of me that is still noted as level 77 in the guildlist. I recommend you keep your Guild stable for a while and see. B.t.w. its an abuse to use the guild system as "private bank". If someone official sees that it may get deleted even if it contains 2 million gold. So dont.

LOL how do you figure that is abuse? It's something you can do on retail and many people have done it on here.

I don't even have my guild anymore. Not even maybe five minutes after I made it, the guild itself vanished. I literally spent eleven or more gold trying to make not only the tabbard emblem, but the guild itself, then I planned to fill it up with people after the randoms helped with the original signatures.
I didn't even have a chance to use it for anything let alone a "personal bank". After logging back in my gold was gone, the guild was gone, and yeah.
